STEP 1 : Visit Official Website of CBSE UGC NET Exam, Click on FILL APPLICATION FORM

STEP 2A : If you don’t have a profile (apply ing first time via CBSE) Click on Apply for NET July 2016

STEP 2B : If you already have a profile, LOGIN using existing details viz. APPLICATION NO., PASSWORD

STEP 3 : Download the INFORMATION BULLETIN for UGC NET JULY 2016
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE INFORMATION BULLETIN FOR UGC NET JULY 2016

STEP 4 : After Reading Instructions, TICK CHECKBOX  and Click PROCEED TO APPLY ONLINE
TICK CHECKBOX  and Click PROCEED TO APPLY ONLINE

STEP 5 : Fill the details in Different Sections – Examination Related Details / Personal Information

STEP 6 : Fill the details in Different Sections – Candidate Mailing Address / Permanent Address /
Details of Educational Qualification

STEP 7 : Fill the details in Different Sections – Choose Password, Confirm Password, Choose
Security Question and write an answer for it (PLEASE WRITE THESE DETAILS on piece of paper
for future reference), Enter Security Pin Image & Click NEXT

STEP 8 : Make Sure : your password should be at least 8 Characters long with minimum One
Capital Letter, one Small Letter, One Number and One Special Character.
For example you can have a password like : Astral@2016

STEP 9 : Choose a security Question out of the list given, for example you can choose
SECURITY ANSWER : Which Book Do you Like SECURITY ANSWER: ugcnet

STEP 10 : Enter the SECURITY PIN , as shown in the image. Please do not change the
case from SMALL to CAPITAL or CAPITAL to SMALL. Also you need not to enter the code
shown here. Enter the code which will be displayed on your screen while filling form &
then click NEXT.

STEP 11 : After this you will get a POP up on your screen, which is a warning, saying
you have to review your information now. After DOING FINAL SUBMIT you will not be
able to change the information. After READING this warning, click on CLOSE BUTTON
on TOP RIGHT SIDE of POP UP

STEP 12 : Now on this review page you will have your information, which was filled by
you on previous page, READ EVERYTHING VERY CAREFULLY, if you want you can also
keep print of this as well for your reference only.

STEP 13 : AFTER READING COMPLETE INFORMATION, if there is anychange, then click
on BACK, do the changes and SUBMIT again, Review again . If EVERYTHING IS FILLED
PERFECTLY then click on FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON

STEP 14 : CONGRATULATIONS, you have successfully created a PROFILE for yourself
for UGC NET Exam. However, you still need to complete more steps in order to APPLY
for CBSE UGC NET Exam. DO NOT FORGET TO NOTE DOWN YOUR APPLICATION
NUMBER ON A SAFE PLACE. Now Click on UPLOAD SCANNED IMAGES to upload
signature and photo

STEP 15 : You need to Upload 2 Images : 1. Your Photograph 2. Your Signature
Both in JPEG / JPG format only
Once you scan these 2 images, you can resize them using PAINT BRUSH.
The final Size for Photograph Should be 3.5cm (w) x 4.5cm (H)
The final Size for Signatures Should be 3.5cm (w) x 1.5cm (H)

EXTRA TIP: You need to Upload 2 Images : 1. Your Photograph 2. Your Signature
Once you scan these 2 images, you can resize them using PAINT BRUSH.
Right click on the image, Click Open with Paint Brush or Edit, then in Paint Brush, Click RESIZE ->
Pixels and then fill the size in PIXELS. You could use other ways as well which you know.
PHOTOGRAPH
3.5 cm = 132 pixels
4.5 cm = 170 pixels
SIGNATURE
3.5 cm = 132 pixels
1.5 cm = 57 pixels

STEP 16 : After Attaching Files using CHOOSE FILE Button, Click on PREVIEW BUTTON,
If photograph & signature is OK to upload, Click on the CHECKBOX and the on FINAL
UPLOAD Button. If you want to change photograph & / or SIGNATURE click on CHOOSE
FILE BUTTON again and FOLLOW the same steps, till you are done.

STEP 17 : After Clicking FINAL UPLOAD BUTTON, you will see a screen like this, which
will show your PHOTO, SIGNATURES. It also Shows that you have successfully
completed 2 STEPS of FILLING FORM. Now you need to Click PAY EXAMINATION FEES
to pay the fees as per your CATEGORY .

STEP 18 : Now you need to PAY the fees as per your preferred mode.
1. You can pay fee online using DEBIT / CREDIT CARD. Or
2. You can pay the FEE using E-Challan for SYNDICATE / CABARA / ICICI / HDFC Bank
Select the mode you want to choose for payment & Click SUBMIT

STEP 19 : You will have a confirmation screen stating the charges in case of DEBIT
CARD / CREDIT CARD. Then Click on GO FOR PAYMENT and Make payment.

STEP 20 : AFTER MAKING THE PAYMENT, JUST WAIT FOR IT TO
REFLECT IN YOUR PROFILE, ONCE IT IS REFLECTED,
DOWNLOAD THE CONFIRMATION PAGE AND TAKE A PRINT OF
IT.
ONCE ROLL NUMBER WILL BE
AVAILABLE , YOU CAN
DOWNLOAD IT BY LOGGING
INTO YOUR ACCOUNT
