There are many advantages to joining a creative media,
professional organization. Specifically, ones that are for
audio engineering prove to boost the business environment.
The two organizations we will be presenting are: Audio
Engineering Society & Center for New Music.

3. Overview
These organizations of industry professionals are dedicated
to improving the business environment for music & sound
creation and curation. They are the only professional trade
associations that deal directly with music and sound for
advertising as well as sponsored entertainment and sonic
branding. The single most valuable benefit to membership are
the connections.

Membership keeps business owners on top of important,
ever-changing issues, trends and legislation within their
marketplace. One of the greatest advantages to being part of
the an organization is the connection we have to each other
as an industry. The networking and camaraderie that takes
place among members is an invaluable asset.

6. Call to Action
So between these 2 organizations I would recommend the
Center of New Music. They have their own facility as well as
exclusive events for members. In addition to this, the
pricing for individual membership is $25 cheaper than that
of Audio Engineering Society. The Audio Engineering Society
is a good organization but it is a tad bit overpriced
considering what it offers. The Center of New music
ultimately offers more benefits for a lower price.
