1. Reflection Paper
During this course, I have learned a lot of emotion intelligence, and I have learned a lot about
myself. When it comes to examining emotional intelligence, I think both the examiner and the
one being examined value the study and examination of emotional intelligence. As I learned
more and more about emotional intelligence I started thinking about new goals to set with the
information I gathered. Before I really knew about EQ I was really stressful, I didn’t know how
to really deal with stress. Since this course my parent have told me that I look healthier and
more physical, also my girlfriend has told me that now that I learned how to deal with stress
our relationship has improved in great ways. I have really found out after these past 15 weeks
what I thought were my strengths were, were actually my weaknesses. My strengths include
Relationship Management and Social Awareness where my weaknesses are Self-awareness and
Self-Management. This course has really shown me that a workplace can really have an effect
on someone’s life, one way that I would help with that would be trying to make the workplace
as comfortable and welcoming as possible for everyone, from personal experiences and people
I have met a lot of people try hiding their emotions and stress at the work place. With a
welcoming environment, it could really have a positive impact on ones’ life in more ways than
one. The biggest thing I have learned during this course is really how to deal with stress and not
make I effect my personal life and those around me. One thing I would like to share is that, this
should be a mandatory course because I know every college student get really stressed at times
especially during big projects and exam week. I have really learned a lot about my self during
this course and I know it will help me in the future.
