Students will work in groups to create a comic explaining the digestive process using the online tool Pixton. They will first read about nutrition, make a mind map of the process and organs involved, then turn their map into a comic on Pixton showing each step of digestion. Their final product will be a comic that teaches others about how the body breaks down and absorbs nutrients from food.

CREATE A TASK USING A WEB TOOL.
TITLE OF THE TASK: STORY OF AN APPLE
AIM OF THE TASK:
Learn about the function of nutrition and describe the digestive process and the role of
the different organs involved.
DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK: (What are they going to do? How are you going to organize
them? Steps to follow and final product)
Students are going to make a comic about the nutrition. They are going to work in
groups of four people. They will have to explain all the steps in the nutrition process.
1. First of all, they will read the information about the nutrition.
2. They will create a mind map about nutrition. They will number the different
steps in the process and the organs involved in every step.

2. 3. They will pass all the steps creating a funny comic, using the tool called PIXTON.
4. Final product: COMIC
