2. - Welcome back to another Installment of Instant City – a BaMC Challenge. Aw – look at this bustling Business District, and
only 11 more businesses to go – so it can be speculated now, what we will do next season? Well, probably more Business
Districts first… of course, we could have hundreds of Universities by now, but with Servos, Bigfeet and Plantsims, there’s no
point in adding even a single Uni yet, but in time, Robin/Son-1’s current condition from his encounter of the probing kind
might change that…-

3. -… but now to our current household P, the gardeners… by now, they have 4 bookcases of education in store, all handed
down by the C (and O) household, as well as full inventories, that need a good cleaning…-

4. -… and then usual routine of learning all there is…-

5. -… and investment perks, we can’t forget about that…-

6. -… and the first maxed skill…-

7. -… and finally all skills maxed… hey, you guys are awfully quiet, every other household would have complained by now…-
‘Oh, we just make like a tree and shut up – we already know, that you don’t care about us and just want to add more
businesses, so we just roll with it…’
- Not even a little insult? –
‘You won’t be able to provoke us, not even with asinine business ideas…’
- Aw man…-

8. -… well perhaps, it’s because they have their trees as conversation partners that they come over so balanced in their
viewpoints… lets see if we can…well, want to change that…-

9. - So Servo P-4 bought the first business, as he is the one with the earn 100.000 Life time want…-

10. -… and it’s another park element for the Numa Key Park, the Honey Bee Yard! –
‘ Wait, we’re going to have a bee yard – as a part of a park? Where there are pets and chil… well potential children, but still
– a bee yard?’
- Yes why not? –
‘… fine… whatever… we’re not provoked, not at all…’
- Dang…-

11. - Okay, before we go any further, the modded object I used for the bee yard is the beehive made by Gwenke – originally
made by Katy_76 at PCSims and tweaked by the modding group of XPTL279, available here. The beehive will allow you to
harvest two types of honey every 25-27 hours, which you can eat or set up for sale – unfortunately one of the honeys will
spoil in time – or directly eat it or kill yourself by angering the bees, which is gladly a non-autonomous interaction… for the
bee yard, I placed 8 hives around the lot, but it will take some time before we have a sufficient amount of honey collected
for sale…-

12. -… and these are the two types, with the orange one being the one that can spoil with green stench and flies…-

13. -… so since I’ think about having at least 100 samples of honey, with 8 hives all 25-27 hours.. So we’ll have to wait about 4
weeks, plenty of time to get Servo P-3’s silver flower badge up to gold and make Servo P-4 earn some money for his lifetime
want by giving finance tips…-

14. -… gold flower badge was of course first…-

15. -… and here is the cutest picture I ever saw of a skunk since watching Bambi…-

16. -,… and once we had enough snapdragons, it was time for some additional skills…-

17. -… and after learning everything there is , Servo P-4 starting raising money again…-

18. -… also Link gave us another example of what a nice evil wizard he can be by raising us to level 1…. Commendable was also
that he was smart enough to not anger the bees…-

19. -… and while you can’t see her here, Vonnie the Good witch also gave us stars and raised our Business to level 2 around
week 4…-

20. -… and only 15 hours later, Servo P-4 reached his goal of earning 100.000 Simoleons while also walking around every day
collecting honey, so now we have enough to finally start the ‘real’ business…-

21. -… rapping for music! Yeah! – Nah, kidding, we actually started with selling honey, but by now, rapping is a great way to
collect customer stars…-

22. -… and while rising from level 2 to 9 during the last picture, Servo P-1 also did some financial advise giving – and fulfilled his
LTW of earning 100.000 too! Note: Sims with LTW are good for business, no breakdowns, no amok…-

23. -… and soon, with half of the honey sold, we reached level 10 and… hey! I KNOW YOU!!!! –
‘Huh – me?’
‘ Yeah, You’re Josef – Josef from Elfish piper productions’ ‘Josef and the Amazing Technicolor Dreampizza’ –video – I saw you over on
Sims99.com before the site closed down – aw, memories…and apparently, you took a trip to the tanning studio, Joe… still have these
eating problems and crazy dreams? Switching to honey now? –
‘I… think… you’re mistaking me for someone else, I’m not…’
- Hey, look, Ronald – that is Ronald , right? He wears crazy make-up -and Frenchie – she had red hair, right? - are over there, too..!-
‘ Wah..? Oh no, not again…AAAAAAAAAAH! *runsoff*’

24. -… and after this bit of nostalgia, and with a fresh badge of honey just collected, we also earned our last Gold Sales Badges –
tip: if you don’t have a Gold Sales badge yet, queue up several sales interactions and don’t stop them even after the Sim is
already persuaded to buy the stuff – you’ll get a Gold Sales badge in no time…-

25. -… unfortunately there is no recipe how to get a cash register badge fast, it takes time getting only silver, which is basically
the needed badge to avoid bag-throwing angry customers…-

26. -… but eventually, everything worked out, the last Gold Sales badge was earned, we got successfully rid of all the smelly
honey pots that were already spoiled….

27. -… so time to buy the next business…-
‘*Ahem* I said originally I’m not complaining… in fact, I’m still not complaining, because the bee yard – well it works with us
being the gardener household, as bees need flowers, and here are flowers and we are gardeners… so, any chance, that the
next business can be kinda … garden-related too?’
- See for yourself…-

28. -… because as of now, your household is the proud owner of the Numa Key Bank!! –
‘… Bank?’
- Yes, you know – the thing where you’ll bring your Simoleons for safekeeping, and if the bank goes bankrupt, you’ll lose
all of it, because they have to pay their managers first…-
‘… do I hear a small grumbling there?’
- Make it an outraged roar and you’re correct…-

29. -… in any case, the Numa Key Bank is of course a completely different kind of Bank, as it informs its customers in advance
about all transactions via all the brochures, magazines and fliers hanging out in the account area, and of course, our clerks
inform them about every single little detail…-

30. -… and should there still be any questions, the Manager has always an open ear for the customers…-

31. -… and the accountants are working tirelessly to make sure, that money is accumulated, not wasted…-

32. -… and during closing times, if a Sim is in need of money, they can always use our brand-new ATM’s to deduct money from
his account…-
‘Wait – ATM’s?’
-… well, it is actually only Arcades, with their features hidden between height-adjustable deco from Freetime and M&G…
but let’s pretend it’s an ATM…-
‘There are modded ATM’s around…’
-… Don’t worry, customers who want money can also always access the safe…-

33. -… in fact, the bank builds on a really trustworthy system how to make their clients money instead of wasting it – by making
it grow from trees! –
‘… you put all our money trees here, you mean…’
- Yes – originally, I wanted counterfeiting machines for the bank, but that’s a sure way to call in the police… so money
trees are the safer way, and since you as the P household had already several of them…-
‘… again, not complaining… the money tree bank makes sense, but honestly, how to come up with that idea is a mystery to
me…
- Don’t ask… just don’t ask…-

34. -… okay, before we started the business, we made one more call to invite a few Servos from the Q household… who
immediately proved, that even with the deco placed, the Arcade machines can be freely accessed…-

35. -… and then we handed one of them – Q2 – over our Bookcases, so that is been taken care off, too…-

36. -… oh, we also take care of ensuring that our customers get their dividends paid in time…-

37. -… and I’m happy to announce, that Josef and his amazing techni… well you know who I mean, is really happy about having
an account here, now he can again afford all the junk food he wants…-

38. -… Yep, things are looking good for the Numa Key Bank, steady rise in money, no financial crisis in sight…-

39. -… though sometimes we have problems with people looking suspiciously over customers shoulders, who are about to
deduct money from their account…-

40. -… thankfully to our great security installation, the only thing they see seems to be an arcade game flashing over the
screen…-

41. -… yep, things are going well - though sometimes strange things happen - just this week, a member of the Astronomers
household of Instant City came to the bank for a bigger loan, with the idea that in the future, we will build a Business
District on the moon! We didn’t accept immediately, but rather wait for sighting all the papers if that would be a profitable
venture…-

42. -… in any case, the Numa Key Bank got such good reviews, that we got prices…-

43. -… badges simply from handing out brochure after brochure…-

44. -… and finally, the richest Sim in Sim history, Professor Disc graced the premise…-

45. -… and guess what he wanted…?-

46. -… yep, a loan! The Professor wanted a loan? Why? Because he is so rich, that the game has started counting him as having
no money at all! So wherever he goes, he always needs to explain, that he can’t buy anything… perhaps, because there
aren’t any Million Simoleon Notes… well, the bank is always happy to help, so Professor Disc was given a little tip with only a
two-bajillion interest to pay back in time, and then sent of his way…-

47. -…a bit unfortunate, that for the entire time, accountant Serva P-2 started ogling the Professor, to her serov-friends P-2’s
dismay…-

48. -… and when the Professor went back for a second loan, Servo P-2 told him outright, that he first had to pay back his first
one or alternatively start wearing a paper bag over his head every time he comes here, because reasons… he, P-2 –
jealous?-
‘ Hrmmmmng….!’
- I’ll take that as a ‘Shut up’…-

49. -… so the Bank continued to grow, money was deducted, invested, loans were given, all that stuff…-

50. -… and then we reached level 10 – and all without getting bankrupt, see, Real Life Banks? That’s how it is done! –
‘ I’m pretty sure, that ‘Real Bank’ won’t learn anything from this…’
- … you’re right… and yet it would be soooo easy…-

51. -… now, after closing the bank down for the weekend, we made some last effort to get even more money into the
accounts…-

52. -… and then start our next investment…-
‘Another business? Okay, after the garden-related bee yard and the bank, while not really garden related, worked on our
money trees, I’m kinda worried, what the next business will be about… I expect something completely different…’
-… weeelll….-

53. -… what do you say to this?! –
‘Oh my… holy crap…is that a …??’
- Yes, it’s a Green House, built on a Patch the same size as the warehouse,… in fact, even the size is similar to the
warehouse…-

54. -… and inside, several fruit machines are already standing ready to make juice drinks, because that will be what we are
going to sell here!-
‘Wait – we sell drinks? But I thought, you can’t sell them, only fruits…’
- Not with the great hack my Mike_1102 at mts.com that allows to sell juice trays ….-

55. -… but until we have collected our first fruits and vegetables for the juice, we have to wait a bit… in the meantime, we can
spent time climbing the castaway trees Pescado over at moreawesomethanyou.com converted for the game…-

56. -… and also collect fruits like mangos and coconuts from there and make them directly into money… thankfully, we have
maxed body skills, so we won’t fall down the trees every time…-

57. -… and now its time to play the fun game ‘Where is green-skinned evil wizard Link in the Greenhouse?’ – can you spot him?
Can you? Also, Level 1…-

58. -… and while the evil Link couldn’t not be spotted and stayed lost…-
‘HEY!’
-… plants were sprouting all over the place, needed to be cared for constantly, weeded out…-

59. -… and soon, delicious fruits could be harvested…-

60. -… and in the meantime, with Link and Vonnie actually becoming friends after all, we reached level 2…-

61. -… and then it was vegetables harvesting time…-

62. -… and after only three seeding's, during which Spring didn’t even progress a little bit, we finally had so many fruits…-

63. -.. That we could finally make juice…-

64. -… and fill up entire juice trays… -

65. -… and just for completion, we went over for a little fishing trip, to collect the boots we need for the boot juice…-

66. -… naturally, we all earned a Gold Fishing badge…-

67. -… and here it is – a tray full of deli… disgusti… of boot juice…-

68. -… and then we finally started our juice business… or not… because these juice trays consume so much fruits and
vegetables, that it was easier to sell some of the less great fruits first to get the remaining customer stars…-

69. -… thankfully, our customers didn’t mind, giving us the cheaper furniture network perk…-

70. -… or a spike popularity, while we earned our first restocking badges…-

71. -… until we finally had our level 10 business, just when we were about to sell the really good fruits and veggies…-

72. -… and instead replaced them with out fruity juice trays, who will now open all the benevolent juice effects – or bizarre
effects in the case of the boot juice – to every household who decides to buy here…-

73. -… and with everything done, it was time return home…-
‘Hey, that was actually a fun trip… after hearing these stories about the other households doing things completely outside
there are of expertise, I was kinda afraid…’
‘Me too… perhaps he had a change of heart and from now on…’
- Don’t count on it – you will have your share of out of expertise businesses too one day…-

74. -… so with the rose bouquet mechanic – which with a gardener household makes sense for once…-

75. -… the last bills to be paid…-

76. -… and a last harvest…-

77. -… we reached the end of this households spring rotation as well…-

78. -… and with only 8 more businesses, 4 warehouse, 4 park elements, left, this chapter comes to an end as well… next time,
we will have one more club, another modded object and a business that will sell stuff that sells well but is a hell to collect,
so in case you wanna try out that one, you’ve been warned…-
