2. -… annd we‘re back at Household A for the Spring rotation… I never believed I‘d see the day, as the Spring Chapter for
household Disc took forever… -
‘Then why do you play them for so long?’
- Because a certain household didn’t give me a business district last time….-
‘Ehrrr…’
- Exactly – also, the Disc’s own now enough money to buy over 200 Unis, so buying a tiny Business is a piece of cake for
them…sooo, with that out of the way, what are you up to now, Serva A-2? –
‘Oh, I’m planning my next murd… ehrrr, just using the education bookshelf to raise skills…?’

3. -… okay, I just pretend, I didn‘t hear the first thing… completely forgot, that Serva A-2 is a bit… well a lot bloodthirsty… though that
might be probably a step up from most businessman… … moving on – so eventually, they maxed most of their skills, before being
sent out in the early spring morning for a recharge… mysteriously, their usual glowing when they recharge disappeared, another
glitch… and as usual, they were blocking the poor paperboys way…-
‘… help….’
- Are you a universal reject or part of a paperboy association for Instant City – I have trouble telling the difference…-
‘I’m… I’m just a normal boy… also: HELP! This… Serva wants to kill me!’
‘Not true, I have no intentions causing any injuries to this boy… well, no visible at least…’

4. ‘… spoilsport…’
- Yeah, yeah… oh hey, chance card, and the good old ‘Simtopia Ballet, ask for Discount or not’ – one…. -

5. -… and we get the Discount once more, and get a secret hobby lot membership card… *yawn* - next! -

6. - There’s been a rumor, that Serva A-4s boss is getting a promotion soon. If Serva A-4 wants to get his old job, she should
try to get on his good side. A good idea would be to invite him to his favorite restaurant, but recently Serva A-4 has also
heard, that her Boss’s children totally want to have the new robotic ants by bear garden…-
‘Bear garden? Isn’t that British for madhouse? Awesome, I want one too!’

7. - Serva A-4 searches in every toy store in SimCity and doesn’t find even a single robotic ant. She calls it a day and enters
an electronic store to buy a video game for the children. While waiting at the cash register, she suddenly sees one last
robotic ants set on a counter and immediately purchases it…-
‘May I keep it myself? Pretty Please?!’
‘…then returns to the office with. Her Boss is surprised, that she was able to purchase a robotic ant. He orders his secretary
to return Serva A-4 the money for the ant. A few hours later, Serva A-4 actually gets promoted to Executive.
‘Awww…’

‚ But… ants – robotic ants…!‘
- Yeah, yeah, I‘d like to get some of these myself, but you can‘t have everything… now go pay the bills …-

9. -… and then back to work with you…and tell your colleague over there, a business suit and a wizards hat are not a good
combination… just saying… -

10. -… and after that, nothing much happened, no chance card, just promotions without being able to go back to work… here

12. -… and Serva A-2 to CEO, Level 9 of the Business Career… aw, we‘re so close now to a Business district I can taste it…-

13. -… and next day – another old acquaintance, the ‘boss has no taste for good art and hangs ugly picture in his office’- card… -

17. -… and at the end of the day, while we‘re getting the other promotions out of the way for the others out of the way… -

‘Yeah, yeah, I get it – I’m a Business Tycoon now…. It actually sucks, to be honest… I thought being at the top of the pecking
order allows for a lot of pecking, but all I’m doing is donating money to foundations and other beneficiary crap and am
constantly in the spotlight with too many witnesses… can’t I just quit?’

‘Aw man… now I have to look for a different hobby… where was that Golf parcour again…?’
-… and so the benevolent forces of the market finally reigned Serva A-2 in stopped her from further… well…anyway, with
our first Business Tycoon, the Business career is unlocked to everyone and we can place a Business district too….-

19. -… compared to this, the last promotion today by Serva A-3 to College Dean of Students was rather uninteresting…-

20. -… because the real treasure of said career was of course still the education bookshelf…-
‘Meh…I’d have preferred the golf parcour, but whatever…’

21. -… and Serva A-2 was the first to profit from it’s power..-
‘Profit from it’s ?...… look, we know, it raises skills, that’s all, nothing… oh, interesting…’

22. -… and soon she had maxed all skills…-
‘Woo… all this knowledge has given me a totally new perspective on life… my murderous ambitions have completely
changed… I no longer have the desire for murder…’

- Well, except paperboys, cash register clerks and a few teen townies that almost never appear on screen, there is no one
that requires a university… besides, being an education minister on an island that is basically an extension of one man’s
quest for world domination is pretty pointless, there isn’t even an elected government…-

26. -… next business chance card: Serva A-1’s warehouses are reporting a huge overstock of Llarry the Talking Llama. Serva A-1,
on the advice on her sales team, acquired the rights from AlpacaSoft to be SimCity's distributor of the overstuffed talking
toy, as the fuzzy llama was projected to be all the rage; but actual sales haven't even come close to expected figures. An
opportunity arises to license the toys as the athletic mascot of the SimCity Llamas, but at this point Serva A-1 wonders if she
shouldn't just donate the stupid toys to the SimCity Children's Home and cut her losses.–
‘Aww, the poor children... I will donate them… the empty warehouse once I sold all the Llamas, haha…’
-… now that was… not completely cruel, even an empty warehouse is… that is, if you actually sell any Llamas at all..-

27. - Serva A-1 orders her programmers, to reprogram the Llamas to say things like: ‘Go Llamas go!’ or ‘Llamas, Llamas, Olé!’.
The programmers don’t quite get it, but work hard to get the job done. With these new slogans, Larry the talk llama
becomes the new mascot of the SimCity llamas, and sales figures go up like crazy. Serva A-1 gets promoted and earns 3
Logic and 3 Creativity points… -
‘And here as promised, the empty warehouses, kids… well almost empty,… in fact, they are filled with sewing machines and
enough fabric to make many new Llamas… now go make them, or no food today…!’
-… that is… I don’t even have words for that…-

28. -… you are so cruel and heartless…-
‘Hey, it’s a chance card, it all happened in Limbo, so nothing of this real, I can say whatever I want…!’
- … there are things you don’t even think about…-
‘Hey, if it helps showing the people who actually do that for real and just happen to read this, how cruel and heartless they

29. -… and Servo A-4 did so as well, getting the same chance card and choosing the same solution… so, are you also converting
your empty warehouses into child labor factories, A-4, haha? –

30. -… next: A co-worker invites Serva A-4 over for his weekly poker match. Serva A-4 is a pretty good poker player – never mind
- and would like to go, but is worried about the possibility winning too much and being disliked. Should Serva A-4 go or not?-

31. -… Serva A-4 decides it'd probably be better for her to skip out on the poker game. Everyone else who goes seems to have a
lot of fun, though, and Serva A-4 has to endure listening to her co-workers gab about it all day long. Serva A-4loses some
games enthusiasm.-
‘Aw man… now I wanna learn poker… what kind of pokers do I need for that?’

32. -… and another workday ends, once again promotions – unfortunately no one was lucky enough to become another
Business tycoon…-

33. -… but we got our first City planner –good job on topping architecture…-
‘Thanks – actually, I have some ideas regarding Instant City to…’
- Sorry, but the City is already filled to the Brim with buildings… perhaps with the new Business District, okay? -

34. -… so with the season once again coming to an end to household A, the last hours were spent with maxing everyone’s
skills…-

35. -… and while doing so, I actually tried to invite Professor Disc and gift the bookcase over to him once everyone has maxed
theirs, but alas, nobody had a good enough relationship to invite him over and than it was already midnight… oh well, we
still have Household O for that…-

36. -… though at least I gave everyone the knowledge secondary aspiration so now they can pass on their knowledge if
someone asks them…-

37. -… and while now the last skills were maxed…-

38. -… it became Spring again…. And that’s it for Household A this Spring – thanks for lifting Business and allowing me to add a
Business District now and… yeah, that’s it, bye…-

Well okay, not for real buildings, but for deco!’

40. ‘Okay, so this is neighborhood and how it looks right now – and the biggest ‘Oy’ is probably the cliff between the upper and
the lower part of the city, right at the border of all the apartments… and don’t get me started on this suicidal street
slope….also, we lack a few important city installations like a water tower…’

41. ‘… so here is, what I did…’

‘… erecting a stable walkway around the upper part of the city! Now inhabitants can walk around the upperside behind a
stable fence without fear of falli ng down…. Also, I added city installations… though having a radio tower so close to
Professor Disc’s home was his idea…. He wanted to have one, something about ‘all world conquerors need a mind control
radio tower’ or so…. Oh by the way, the walkways are actually the piers from the Modest Embankment set by Criquette at
MTS.com…’
-…. And the suicidal slope?? -

42. ‘…Oh, it’s now been hidden behind the walkway…. you won’t even see the cars driving along the slope poking through it,
as it is so massive… or rather we just pretend, that the street does run in fact through the underground of the island in a
spirally or otherwise direction and exit below…’
-… and what happens to the cars then? Do they just come out of the pier magically or…?-
‘Oh no, I also thought about that: at the bottom, we’ve placed the Small Railway Tunnel Entrance from the Ultimate railway
set also by Criquette at MTS.com – the car will directly disappear or appear in the black hole…’
-… and above?...-

43. ‘Welll, that actually was a problem first, as criquettes’ tunnel only works if placed in front of a hill or similar structure,
something we don’t have at the upper side of the island…thankfully, I found a way to work around it, by using MsBarrows
Railway Tunnel with Fieldstone recolor from TSR.com – which is actually a 1-tile-object but shows in neighborhood view.
And while it’s also meant to be used against hills, with the help of the Angled shiftable shelves - specifically the 22°- and
67°-Angle forward one - from the: *Updated* A Whole New Dimension: OMSPs Revisited and Improved! - Collection By
SilentLucidity at MTS.com, I was able to create a ‘going into the ground’ construction for the upper tunnel… many thanks to
Daughter-1/Rose by the way, for allowing me to place the shelves and tunnels on the Community busines at the edge…’

‘Oh, at the begin of the summer actually, while her brother was abducted…’

44. -…. Hm, well it looks nice, but… Oh, so the shadows of the tunnels kinda create…. And the cars then simply go down at the
edge and… Oh well, I guess, I can live with that… and with all the CC I have to take on board for this…. Very well, carry on –
so what else? -

45. ‘… oh, after that, I also reworked and edited the walkways upper position a bit more, so that they will now really sink into
the ground at the bottom… also, I added Balloons as a way of alternative travel to the island and started to add
vegetation…’

46. ‘… a lot of vegetation… oh and I think, that a mix of temperate and boreal vegetation works better than a tropical island
flair… ‘
- Mhmm… and what about all those rocks I’m not seeing…? -

47. ‚... Oh , that is another idea, I had… see, since the island somehow resembles the shape of a dead volcano – and since the
backside isn‘t really interesting either – I covered everything with rocks here so now it looks like a caldera…’
-… m-okay… that’s a bit retconning, but why not…-

48. ‘... Oh and also, I placed the Statue of Bella Goth on the other peak of the island… because aliens have already visited the
island now….’
- … bit farfetched, but I let it slide…. You know, now that I think about it, it’s a bit sad, that we don’t could add a harbor,
nothing against the balloons…-
‘Oh I also added a pier from the Marina piers and boats set by criquette at MTS.com down there… But admittedly, this
might be a bit too little, so I also added…’

49. ‘… another railway tunnel at the upper end of the island, facing a rock – so now we can pretend, that the island has an
undersea tunnel connection to other parts of the Sim world…’

‘Well not everything… but I’ve given it some thought…’

50. ‘… for example, I also added an agricultural/farm section to the island on the other side of the walkway, accessible through
a tunnel as well…’
-… isn’t that a bit too little and sloped ? –
‘Well, since a lot of inhabitants on the island are Servos, witches/wizards with motive regaining thrones or Bigfeet that
know how to make snapdragons… but you’re right, it’s probably more Alpine transhumance then real agriculture… may I
suggest an agricultural business district later?’

53. -… and that’s basically it for Instant City this chapter, the island is now completely decorated and ready for more
inhabitants… there are still 56 empty apartments waiting to be occupied, so I also guess, we won’t add any more residential
buildings for a while… after all, there is still an entire Business District waiting to get added… see you and good bye! -
