2. - Hello and Welcome to another Magical Chapter of Instant City – a BaMC Challenge! –
‘Do you even think, anybody reads this? And it’s not like you give them any incentive if you never comment on their
stories…’
- Every time the same old story – one of you is always nagging just to kill the mood… who are you, my inner Donald
Simtrump? –

3. -… and here we are back with the magic coven of Instant City – well, at least you don’t have that many cars in your inventory
this season, guys…-

- …remembers that you were duped into buying cars last seasons despite having brooms? Yes, yes I know, it’s been a while…
even I have to look my own stuff up just for this…-

4. -…now go and pay your rent while I reread some more… oh, we had a pottery, how nice…. Aaah, I get it, because Magic
Potters… *insane cackling*…-

5. -… okay, enough nostalgia, let’s try something new – like finding an actual job… and lo and behold, there it is, the most
sought-after job in a BaMC – a career in business, great for getting more Business districts…-
‘… we all have to take the job, don’t we?’
-… that was a dumb question.-
‘You said that last season too – I thought you were done with the nostalgia…’
-… just take it and…-

6. -… go to work…-

7. -… and get chance cards… and by now, the Business Chance Cards have become repetitive – here’s again the one where you
crates of talking Llamas in your warehouse and you can either make it a mascot of the SimCity Llamas or donate it to the
orphanage…-

8. -…and we donate it, and the positive campaign grants us a bit of money and some points we don’t need…-

9. -… unfortunately, the second time it doesn’t work out, as: after tons of talking Llamas have been carried to the Orphanage,
the SimCity Llamas win the World Championship. Suddenly everything Llama-related becomes popular and the orphanage
takes it chance by selling the Llamas for a lot of Moola. If the donated Llamas run out, the orphans are pressed into making
even more Llamas making even more Moola. While the Orphanage Business booms, Servo I-2’s Company is really angry with
his decision, and he loses a point of logic… wow, that’s a harsh card…-

10. -… next hobby chance card: During lunch an oversea sports game is shown. Serva I-4 really wants to see it, but is then called
to a meeting. Should she join the meeting or make an excuse to watch the game?...-

11. -… of course, we follow the call of duty, and because we were so invaluable to the meeting, we get promoted…! -

12. -… and once more: By advice of her broker, Serva I-4 has bought 2000 shares of Money Shark Computers, because they are
about to close a deal with the military. Should the deal fall through though, Money Shark Computers could go bankrupt.
While the broker assured the deal to be safe, Serva I-4 has concerns. What should she do? -

13. -… when Serva I-4 returns to her office, the radio just brings the breaking news that the deal between money shark
computers and the military popped, with Microscotch getting the contract, and the company has declared bankruptcy as a
result. Meanwhile Serva I-4, who just sold her share of Money Shark Shares, can enjoy her 5000 Simoleons earned by the
sale…-

14. -… well that was enough for the day, good job, everybody… except you, Servo I-2, for losing a logic point AND getting
demoted…you disgust me….! -
‘Hey, I got promoted back to my old job right after that…!’
- Shush – now go and retrieve your missing logic point…-

15. -… and don’t tell me it’s difficult, you have snapdragons and thrones to keep you happy…-

16. -… and back to work – and more Cards: Microscotch is looking for a new CEO, and Serva I-4 is one of the potential
candidates. Serva I-4 researches the company a bit and is impressed by their figures. She is however concerned, since loyalty
is a big thing in the business world, to just leave her old company…-

17. -… so while the job offering from Microscotch is tempting, Serva I-4 declines, and her company is so impressed by her Loyalty
that they pay her a bonus of 5000 Simoleons as well as promising her to become CEO soon…-

18. -… in other news, money shark computers tries to land a deal with the military again…-

19. -… unfortunately, this time, the deal works, Money shark computers shares rise by 23 %, and while Servo I-3 doesn’t lose
money for selling them, he doesn’t gain anything from it…-

20. -…okay, another hobby card, where your boss sees a book you’re reading and asks you to lent it to him….-

21. -… and he likes it soo much, that he promotes Servo I-2… great job, Servo I-2, you’re my favorite…-

22. -… and then the usual ‘colleague wants to listen to your earphone music’…-

23. -… and dislikes it, and we lose enthusiasm – well, at least he doesn’t stalk us…-

unrelated note to all native English speakers: the word ‘student’ can be used in the same context as ‘pupil’, yes?)…-

27. -… anyway, here is the lot – and admittedly, I made a few changes to NEBERQUE223’s lot by replacing the former wallpaper
just showing a large clock for the clock tower with an animated working one by Momma b from here (with my own recolor):

- Okay, we’re not in the desert or any other poor country… just see this as a symbolic gesture of people supporting this
school by buying water… also, this is like totally magical sparkling water, the best water there is!... or so…-

29. -… anyway, the buckets of water are sellable and cost around 5-8 Simoleons…-

30. -… of course, the main income is once again the ticket machine… and Link once again is one of the first get duped into
buying enough tickets for the next century…-

31. -… so we reached level 5 of the business rather fast…-

32. -… but not too fast, that Servo I-1 didn’t get a silver cash register badge out of it…-

33. -… and once again, we’re ready some more features to our private school hood…-

36. -… with a general doctors office for kids with minor illnesses or simply just a way to get an excuse to stay away from classes
by feigning a serious disease…-

- Well, a bad haircut is a serious thing in Sims 2… but admittedly I would have put the medical career reward in here, but
then decided against it because…-

38. -… and finally, the Spa Part of the clinic, for pupils with minor pains that can be resolved by a good massage…okay, that was
the quick tour, now let’s show the world, how well their children will be treated here…-

41. -… or experts in the field of receiving ‘more loan’ network perks…-

-… okay, to be fair, it took some time to come up with a good unowned community lot and where to put it… I had several
rejects I won’t mention here… perhaps in a later update…-
-… Now the lot I finally went with needed some preparation for Blank Mesa… first, I made another backup of Instant City…-

83. -… then I used the ‘modifyneighborhoodterrain on’ cheat to modify Blank Mesa’s terrain…-

84. -…. Raising a certain 6x6 part of the map higher and higher…-

-… Professor…? … okay, I guess, you’re over your little depressive episode now… anyway, you are a bit mistaken… the Space
Station doesn’t belong to you… or anybody else in Instant City…, especially, because it’s actually a residential lot and
nobody lives there…-

87. -… of course, we are gonna change the status a residential lot soon with the changelotzoning cheat…-
‘ It still belongs to me, as this is my city, and the Space Station belongs to the City! Now the next time some alien comes
along and knocks up my son without paying child support, I’ll go after him…!’
-…okay… okay… whatever rocks your boat… ehrm, station, Professor….-

88. -… in the meantime, I’m gonna break out my big trick of ‘How to make a Space Station really fly’… all you need, is Mootildas
(RIP) Hood Replace 2.3, a backup of your hood, a few calibrations what to copy and what elevation not to fix…-

89. -… and TA-DA – a flying Space Station, high above the ground!...-

90. -… okay, this trick has flaws, as I’ve discovered… for example, if you enter the lot and then save it, the ground will adjust
itself to the lots current altitude, so using it as a residential lot where you need to save your progress is right out if you want
to maintain the illusion of flying, unless you use hood replace repeatedly…. Thankfully, Sims can visit the community lot and
leave it, without leaving a trace later despite the ground adjusting in play mode as well…-

91. ‘HEY!’ Why can’t I enter the Space Station?!’
-… who were you again? –
‘I am Servo S-4, the Future Mayor of Instant City – and I demand access to the Station, because for once I agree with my
opponent – this Station belongs to the city. And I am the City… in the future I mean…’
-… well, I didn’t include a teleporter to the station, so right now, the only able to enter are astro… well actually, not even
astronauts, just people answering the ninjas riddle or witches/wizards… and you’re neither of them…-
‘AHA! Great – so this means, that the Professor only gives the privileged access… clearly a sign of his oppression… if I exploit
that, my polls will literally skyrocket…-

92. -… oh boy… anyway, with this bit of subplot shoved in at the last minute and a final look at Blank Mesa and it’s newest
addition, it’s once more time to say good bye till the next chapter of Instant City – a BaMC Challenge!-
