2. - Hello and Welcome back to another Installation of Instant City – BaMC Challenge! Last time, we gave the Blank Mesa
Science District a Solar Power Plant and a restaurant, added an Air Plane to Coral Island… oh, and we also played a
Household or so… ehrm….uh, uh, but subplot happened, Professor Disc went on Vacation… jeez, I have summed up the
entire last chapter in a slide…. Lets see if we can top that…-

3. -… so, where were we – oh right, back at the Plants/Farmer Household… first clean the inventories and then… yeah, since
nobody had a job yet, everyone was switched out for now…-

4. - Except for P-4, who is Permaplat, and therefore tending the gardens…-

5. -…. Harvesting the fruits…-

6. -… paying the bills…-

7. -… and find a job in business – yay! …-

8. -… now, we were unfortunately too far into the week already, so there was only one day of the season left for work, and not
a single chance card happened to anyone…-
*worldwide sigh of relief*
- Wow, the whole world is reading this? –
*crickets…*
- Really funny , haha… -

9. -… so, what Community Lot should we buy….ah yes – that one: the small Bus stop by Lewis_MB … –

10. ‘That one? No offense, looks cute, but in this setting it stands oddly out…’
- Weeell… I actually wanted to change the appearance, but then read the idea behind it:
The reason why I made it was to add realism to my town, but mainly to form a story whereby a normally sensible husband
makes his wife furious by idiotically buying a useless lot, which can't even be remodeled, yet eventually makes a business
from it! … so based on this, I will not remodel the lot, but make a successful business from it – and the odd sticking out
actually provides a nice touch…-
‘… yeah, but you still have to replace ‘wife’ with ‘household’ and ‘normally sensible husband’ with ‘idiot’…’

11. -… okay, so this is the small bus stop, completely in its unchanged state…-

12. -… this is the inside…-

13. -… and this – will be our successful business! –
‘… we sell snack automats again?... *urgh*…’
- Hey, snack automats are easy, and kinda fit to the bus stop, even the windows on that side agree, haha…-

14. -… oh, and one more change was adding the portapotty conversion by Maty which I actually use on many lots already…-
‘Hmmm… I thinks that already breaks your no remodeling rule..’
- No, it doesn’t! It is a portable toilet, it can be removed, like the automats…-
‘Lets just get this over with…’

15. -… and they sell and they sell and they sell and they…-
‘STOP! That joke wasn’t funny last household and it isn’t funny now!’
-… *ehem*… and they…[removes next 10 slides]-

16. -… reach level 5 – there, that wasn’t that bad? –
‘Yes, it was! That was horrible! You did that for 10 slides! How could you do that?!!’
- What 10 slides? –
‘The ones you…. You removed them, didn’t you?! Sadist!’
- Hey, it was a big sacrifice, I should have kept that pic, where the giant flying pig tried to use the outdoor toilet and…-
‘Uggh… don’t remind me…’

17. - So the next business was acquired…-

18. -… and it is the Cans to Vans grocery by letthemplaysims from the Tumbleton project… actually, this was one of the earliest
lots that I wanted to use for Blank Mesa, as it looks good in a desert environment and takes up little space…-

19. -… and comes with…-
‘OH NO! Not snack automats again…!’
- Come on, there is a lot of other stuff around, I won’t even put the automats up for to not distract customers…-

20. -… because, again, there is enough stuff we can sell to level the business up…-

21. -… In fact, we leveled up so fast, that I didn’t get the obligatory level 5 shot… so we have to settle for the ‘all money perks
acquired so someone else can take over the business to get his or her money perks’ –shot… also, P-4 got his Bronze
restocking badge…-

22. -… so time for the next business…-
‘Please don’t make me do this, please don’t make me do this, please don’t…’

23. ‘…D’OH!’
- Ladies and Gentleservos, I present you: the New Tumbleton Tower by Just Sim around…-

24. -… a well-made, no-CC office building…-

‘…Oh come on!’
-… look, this lot just had to be put here! Science always needs bureaucracy, storing data, deciding whether or not to get
funding… and it looks too good to not place it…-

26. -… well, it needed a new name, though…-

27. -… and before we started the business, we would need a little financial input…-
‘ you made us slave day and night, till we made the same amount of money we had to spent for this building…
unbelievable..’
-… yeah, I like to do this stuff…-

28. -… or max someone’s magic level…-

29. -… before it was business time again..-
‘Well yes sir, this is an office building, and nobody works here but us, and yes, we sell the snacks from the automats that
usually just stand around to feed the office staff , but since nobody works here… look, just buy something, willya?!’

30. -… and…-
‘Why, yes sir… we have snack automats on several floors, and we sell stuff from all of them, and while it is the same
automats with the same stuff as the one on the other floor, you should buy something from this one too…-

31. -… and….-
‘… *sigh*… buy. This. Now. And then get out, we have 5 customer stars from you, no need to bother with you anymore,
you…snack automat buying moro… customer…’

32. -… and again we reached Level 5, so time for the second run through the businesses…-

33. -… also, on the way out, we earned our first million…-

34. -… okay, back at our bus stop, we run immediately into journalist Karen again…-

35. -… and get a prize… for our bus stop business… where no bus has stopped so far…-
‘Actually, this is not for the business, the business is silly… but since the bus stop was not remodeled, you get a not
remodeling price for it…’
- Hah! I knew it would pay off…-
‘…*Psst* don’t tell him, that’s a ‘silly business’ prize..’

36. -… annnd level 10 – mission accomplished! Everybody else wants to take the challenge making this lot a great business ? I
only needed to add 3 items to it… -
‘you must be so proud of yourself…’
- Shush! On to the grocery…-

37. -… moar stuff was sold…-

38. -… Servo P-1 got a Gold-Restocking Badge in the process…-

39. -… Son-1 came around and was persuaded to buy a birthday cake for his alien kids…-

40. -… annnd level 10 as well…-

41. -… so onward to the Blank Mesa Tower… whom we gave a little recolor to make it fit better into the neighborhood…-
‘Jeez, now it doesn’t even look good anymore…!’
- I don’t think so, and it looks good in the overall hood design…-

42. -… don’t you agree, Mr. journalist? –
‘Well… the servos run the business well, so I’ll give them a positive review… but the building doesn’t look so good, so no
prize…’
- OUT! OUT BEFORE I LOCK YOU INTO A ROOM WITH WOODEN FURNITURE AND AN ARMADA OF FIRE JETS! CRITIC… I
mean CRETIN! –
‘ Mr Journalist – you’ll get everything for free every time you visit this lot, thanks for making our day…’

43. -… mrbl… stupid journalist… why – oh hello, Servo S-4, probably future mayor of Instant City… do you know, Professor Disc
went on Vacation and decided not to concern himself anymore with the events of his city…-
‘ Oh really? And why should I be bothered by what he does? I isolated him from everyone at the beginning of this season,
he was already old news then – and once I’m mayor…’
- Well, he decided to do that, because nothing will happen anyway, after all I write this story and…-
‘… and you think, you can abandon or cancel out this subplot and nobody will die…?… sorry, but I think I know you better
than that with being in your head and all that - you’re already searching for a way to work around that… see ya...’
-… dang, he is good..-

44. ‘… and hello, my dear Serva-friend – might I tell you, what a delightful office this is – a wonderful addition to this city, a
great investing into the future role of servo kind… -
‘…actually, the writer made us buy this and while it is nice, we hate it simply because he made us buy it…’
‘And you should rightfully be angered against his oppression and those of all the Non-Servos… but all this will change once
I’m mayor, you’ll see… so keep your head up, occupy more of Instant City – oh, and don’t forget to vote for me…’

45. ‘… oh yes, everything is going according to plan…’
-… you’re really full of yourself, aren’t you? –
‘ You write me, joke’s on you…!’
-… okay, you have the evil type card now, so I won’t be able to overcome this so easily… but you know, evil always fails in
the stories…-
‘Oh I’m aiming for the ‘Joker immunity’ role – even if I fail, I still kinda succeed and come back…!’
- …. Dang, he IS good…. I mean bad… anyway, level 10…-

46. - ….time to go home…-

48. -… garden some more…

49. -… and…. Well, I actually thought, that the season would end before Monday, but due to whatever reason, it continued until
it was time to go to work again…-

50. -… and only after going to work, it became fall…-

51. -… oh well, one more promotion for us…-

52. -… meanwhile, the other households move in…-

53. -… and since there were no chance cards, I didn’t even take a shot of the P-2 Family household promotion, instead just a
picture of fall setting in the next day…-

54. -… the P-3 household then had one chance card, where we play soccer against the boos again…-

55. -… and we let him make a goal and now he thinks we’re too soft, and we lose enthusiasm in sports… oh noes etc.…-

56. -… and finally, the P-4 household has a card too… again the sell shares or not card…-

57. -… and we sell them and have a bad outcome, meaning for this card nothing happens…-

58. -… and with fall setting in on the last household, this chapter comes also to an end…-
‘Apparently you won your bet from the start – this chapter was even more uneventful than the last one…’
- Hey, was Servo P-4 nothing? Soooo evil…-
‘Yeah, right…’

59. -… and that wraps up another episode of Instant City – a BaMC Challenge! Our Population is now close to 12.000, no
additional community lot this time, but most likely next season… thx for reading!
