This document provides an overview of the activities and progress of Household R in the Spring season of Instant City. Key events include: - Household R buys a "Dog Park" business featuring puppies that customers can interact with. - All members of Household R max their skills and earn badges and promotions from their businesses. - The final business purchased is a "Toddler & TV" shop that is very popular with customers. - By the end of the season, Household R has fully developed their skills and businesses.

2. - Hello and Welcome back to another episode of Instant City – a BaMC Challenge! Wooh, only 2 households to go, and the
first year of Instant City is over – and look at Numa Key, transforming from empty island and Joke about certain Horror
Stories and Internet Memes to a busy place with Clubs, restaurants, stores, Gyms, Bowling Alleys and all kind of other stuff…
and as I realized, I didn’t even scratch the tip of the iceberg of what other business are possible… as usual, the Inhabitants
of Instant City have taken a backseat in these chapters, as a in-depth characterization just isn’t possible, if they look
identical and I ever wont to make any progress – 500.000 is still a far away goal…-

3. -…. Now back to the R household…-
‘GroooooVy…’
- … at least you seem to have a distinct personality, Servo R-1…. A dumb one, but commendable… now out with all this
stuff from the inventory…-
‘Wooah…. Personal space, dude… ‘

4. -… and we’re again at the studying…-
‘… man, all these… these… letters… totally woa…’

5. -… and stoned or not, we soon had our first maxed skills…-

6. -… except for R-1 who had to go to work again…-
‘Man, get me out of here – to many letters…!’

7. -…. Meanwhile, some Servos actually brought over outing rewards… we didn’t have these in a long time…-

8. -… and soon we got our first maxed skills…-

9. -….paid the rent…-

10. -… and 2 days before the end of Spring, R-1 had caught up with everybody…-
‘Wooah… groovy man, I can feel the universe…’
- Of course you do…-

11. -… now go ask the universe, where we can buy another business…-
‘… uh, puppies… *buys*’
- Puppies? -

12. -… annd – because I thought that it would be fun – we bought a ‘dog park’. And not the Nightvale ‘don’t go to the dog park’
dog park, but the ‘Puppies!’ Dog park…-
‘Man! Puppies, Man!’
- Yes, we established that…-

13. -… truth to be told, I never paid that much attention to these small puppy pound things before… in short, they are a bigger
version of the worm rat or parrot cages, you can spawn a puppies that can be interacted with, but will never leave the
pound or grow up… -

14. -… so our puppy shares a fate similar to that of other pets, pretty pointless…-
*Whine*
-…. Awww, but soooo cy-uuuuuuute…-

15. -…. So lets feed, clean up after and get annoyed by the little critter with it’s constant barking and complaining and… why did
I think again, that the dog park was a good idea? -

16. -….. Oh yes…. Awwwwwwwww….-

17. -… now of course we can’t spend just all the time with the puppies, so it’s dating & network reputation time again…-

18. -… and then some additional skills…-

19. -… and here we have it, the handover of the bookcases to the last household of the season, household S…-

21. -… and Not-Not Komei is already our first customer whom we sell a few puppy pounds, and he’s so happy about it, He’d
almost given us 2 prices…-

22. -… and while a lot of people seem to enjoy the idea of having a puppy for their apartment, we slowly got Gold Sales Badges
for everyone…-

23. -… our investment perks… -

24. -… our first investment boni…-

25. -… Robin/Son-1 making ogle eyes over these adorable little critters and their tiny baby steps and cute-to-die-for squeals…-

26. -… and our next level 10 business – good work, guys…-

27. -… and while we had still had some time for a Gold Cash Register badge…-

28. -… we eventually bought our next – and last - business for this household…-

-… the puppies are objects, they will stay here until Kingdom comes…-

-… look, when we come back here, the puppies will still be here… actually, the sooner we leave the more likely the puppies
stay alive and not starve to death or so while in Limbo…-

29. -… and this is our next and last business for the household , the ‘Toddler & TV’, like the ‘Muscles & Music’ for the N
Household a Hybrid two-in-one business… -

30. -… one for toddlers…-

31. -… and little kids…-

32. -… and the other one for Television and some accessories for a nice stay in front of the old mind-number…-

33. -… and by the way, while the toddler shop was something on my still-to-do list, the TV shop was simply ‘something that
begins with ‘T’ like toddler’…-

34. -… anyway, while this almost no sign of an expecting parent to see – certain Plantsims excluded – the toddler business was
very well frequented… -

35. -… even Not-Not Komei gave his blessing – though no price – to this business…-

36. -…and this old coot a lower rent network perk…-

37. -… and all the diapers we sold and restocked, which gave us a gold restocking badge, makes you whether or not our
customers regularly visit the Instant City cemetery…-

38. -… oh and just for the record, not only the toddler business was a hit, but the TV business as well… though it makes you
wonder, why this guy, that just hands us over a brand new TV, would want to buy another TV… I mean, a defunct TV for us
would make sense as some sort of asking for a discount, but brand new? Anyway, we sold his TV later for double the price…-

39. -… got another bronze cash register badge …-

40. -… and Level 10 again – well done, guys…-

- R-1, you’re not even in this picture… also, Servos can’t make babies…-

41. -… and while the Not-Not Komei didn’t give us a price, the Not Komei did…-
‘The Not Komei likes these baby things… the Not Komei feels very grown up here…’

43. -… and another lower rent network perk… too bad, only one counts…-

44. -… and here we see, how the Toddlers and TV have just brought back in the price it originally cost…-

‘The Not Komei loves being here… the Not Komei feels sooo old here… … now the Not Komei feels too old and is sad… *puts
thumb in mouth*…-

46. -… and while the Not Komei went through the motions, we earned our next Gold Cash Register badge…-

47. -… and another brand new TV from a customer who just bought a TV…-

48. -… and another one… okay, this is getting too weird, let’s go home…-
‘Wooah… staaars…’
- Yes I know… we went a bit overboard, because I wanted to balance the no-money-perks situation and ended up with
getting 410 Customer stars, more than 3 times needed for a level 10 business, but… oh well… -

49. -… so we returned home…-

50. -… placed our roses…-

51. -… annnd… got all jobs in slacker, as according to my rules, right now we have 8 clubs in Instant City/Numa Key and
therefore 7 job openings minus the one already taken by R-1…-
‘… do we have to talk like R-1 now too, like ‘dude’ ‘woah’ or ‘radical’?’
- No – and while you already did that when making snapdragons and getting zoned out, for the sake of everyone else’s
sanity let this be his burden to shoulder…-

52. -… also, I need someone straight to pay the bills…-

54. -… or to ask for a discount at the Ballet…-

55. -… even if you have to pay in the end…-

- Shut up, R-1, you’re supposed to be deactivated right now and silent…-

56. -… so I can figure out what to do with this Chance Card: During the premiere of Dietmar Dramas’ new movie ‘The color of
Simoleons’, Serva R-2 discovers that the movie role is damaged. Except for a few scenes the movie looks fine though. Should
Serva R-2 repair the damage or take the chance and show her own movie, which she made an eternity ago for the movie
club at her school? … again, not really working for a Servo who never went to school or had a childhood…-

57. -… so: Serva R-2 repairs the damage of the color of Simoleons, but since she’s never seen the movie, she doesn’t exactly
remember anymore the order of the scenes putting them wrong back together. Serva R-2’s new version however turns out to
be even better then the Original version, and right after the premiere Serva R-2 is asked if her version can be brought
directly to Home DVD. Serva R-2 agrees and is promoted to Cutter…-
‘Raaaaadicaaaaaaal…’
- I said shut up! -

58. -… and Servo R-3 also gets the chance card and also makes his own version of the movie and it is sold via Home DVD… okay,
now I wanna see the original version, if it sucks so bad that recuts of it are actually better…-

60. -… not that it matters, because at the end of the day respectively season, everyone is promoted to movie cutter…-

- Yes, really funny guys, but you won’t make write ‘Noooo…’ just because you start talking like… wait…. Nooooooooooo…!.-

61. -….. Ooookay… nough screaming, more squealing, as with this chapter, only 3 spaces for 3 businesses are left, before Numa
Key is… well almost completely covered, because there is still a big space next to the observatory left… that one is reserved
for a certain lot next time though… but now for the penultimate ‘thanks for reading, see you next chapter’ for Instant City
