To whom it may concern,
It is with pleasure that I highly recommend Trevor Moody!
I have known Trevor in various capacities since Spring 2015. In spring 2015, Trevor was
admitted into the Masters in Family and Human Development at ASU. As the director for this
program, it has been my pleasure to get to know Trevor’s, along with his goals, passion, and
academic abilities throughout his time in this program.
Trevor was also a student in my Social Statistics for Graduate Students course in Spring 2015
(CDE 501) and my Capstone 2 course in Summer 2015. Both of these courses are challenging
and rigorous, requiring students to think critically, apply what they have learned, develop
research skills, write coherent academic reports, and learn more about the state of their
field/profession. He was a pleasure to have in class and expressed curiosity for the content,
exhibiting a true love of learning. Trevor earned an A in each of these classes, attesting to his
academic abilities, self-direction, work-ethic, and time management skills.
In addition to Trevor’s ability to do well in his courses (he currently has more than a 4.0 in our
master’s program), he also shows a true passion for the content. He is a strong student and a
delightful and positive person. He actively seeks out opportunities to gain insight and
experience. I have no doubt that he will continue to excel.
I give Trevor Moody my highest recommendation! If you have any questions regarding Trevor
or would like to discuss this matter further, please feel free to contact me at

Respectfully,
Bethany Van Vleet, PhD
