To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Taylor Paluck. Taylor has been a student
of mine at North Dakota State University (NDSU), and during this time I have had the
opportunity to get to know her on an academic level. I have found Taylor to be an intelligent,
self-motivated person who is never afraid to take on a challenging task and lend a helping hand.
Due to these qualities, I believe Taylor would be an excellent addition to your internship team.
Throughout my time teaching at NDSU, Taylor has enrolled in two of my classes. I have had the
opportunity to get to know Taylor, and I believe she is a responsible student who pays great
attention to detail in her writing. Not only is Taylor an excellent student, but she has also proven
to be a great resource for her fellow students. In and interpersonal communication course I taught
that had over 75 students, Taylor volunteered to help take notes for a student with a learning
disability. Very much a team player, Taylor was always punctual, creative, and open-minded.
These abilities helped her to remain well organized and thrive under high-pressure situations.
Many of the communication courses offered at NDSU require quite a bit of reading and
preparation for class lecture. Taylor was always prepared for class, and this was evident by her
ability to regularly participate in class discussion. On many occasions Taylor’s contributions to
class discussion went deeper than just discussing the material in the readings. Taylor was always
prepared with questions to help her understand the concepts in a way that they could be applied
to her life and future career.
I highly recommend Taylor Paluck for an internship position. She has excellent communication
skills and is self-motivated and organized. I truly believe that she will be a great addition to your
internship team.
Respectfully,
Nancy DiTunnariello
