Analysis of my Music
     Magazine
  Questionnaire.
This pie chart shows that
               out of the 100
         questionnaires given out,
            the majority were
Female     completed by males.
Male
My results show me that the
              questionnaire I had created was
          distributed to mostly people aged 16 –
          20. This is not surprising as I had done
16 - 20
          most of the distributing in and around
21 - 25   college. The small variety of ages may
26 - 30   affect my results as they will mainly be
31 - 39     from a young person’s perspective.

My questionnaire results show me that,
                      out of all of the magazine choices,
                      Kerrang! Is the most popular and Q
                    magazine is the second. This proves to
NME                 me that for my magazine I will need to

The Rolling Stone   used genres are rock and indie as this is
Q                          similar to Kerrang and Q.

              vast majority of the music
           magazine consumers prefer to
           buy their magazine on a weekly

          basis. Due to this majority choice
Weekly     I will also make my magazine a
Monthly         weekly piece of media.

These results show that when
                    purchasing a music magazine people
                     are more interested in free posters
                       and less interested in local gig
                    information, this is something that I

             people are not prepared to spend
              more than five pounds a month
                  on music magazines, this
             information is not at all surprising
              to me as the questionnaire was
£0 - 5       mostly taken by 16 – 20 year olds
             who stereotypically do not have a
£5.01 - 7
                   lot of money to spend.

Evaluation of my Music Magazine

This is not surprising as I had done 16 - 20 most of the distributing in and around 21 - 25 college.
