Context
Today’s landscape of enterprise technology has changed significantly over the past
10 years.
Companies need to have agile baked into all teams across the organization
Cloud solutions, coupled with digital content strategies is new and business leaders
need help understanding what to do and how to do it.
Introduce a new project that is not tied to current processes
Use a centralized repository (e.g. wiki) to communicate
● Business Objective
● Context
● Assumptions
● List of requirements for any users of the system
Start new
Defining Goals
Things to consider:
● How does this tie to the business strategy
● How will the feature generate revenue or solve a costly problem
● If you can’t define it, do you need it?
Be Brief
Turn text into visuals
● Diagrams - Process Flow, SIPOC
● Infographics
● Screen shots
Start the conversation
Get feedback and iterate
● Work towards constant improvement
● Be encouraging, not critical
● Empathize with users to demonstrate your point of view
● Accept feedback from people and users when given
● Show that you care so that you can deliver

Companies need to have agile baked into all teams across the organization Cloud solutions, coupled with digital content strategies is new and business leaders need help understanding what to do and how to do it.

  • 6. Defining Goals Things to consider: ● How does this tie to the business strategy ● How will the feature generate revenue or solve a costly problem ● If you can’t define it, do you need it?
