Experience
Aviation Advisor, BP Global Aviation Services, 2012 – Present. Responsibilities: Currently supports BP
Global Aviation Services through development and maintenance of official list of approved aviation
providers, setting and interpreting standards for managing the risk of aviation across the BP Group,
identification of risk exposure and trends, and as an aviation lead for new ventures. Interfaces regularly with
industry groups, manufacturers, suppliers, BP businesses, audit, aviation advisors, authorities and operators.
Aviation lead for BP Canada offshore exploration project, providing aviation subject matter expertise to
develop scope of work, assist in defining rescue requirements and technical evaluation of potential aviation
providers. Led BP review of aviation incident investigation for pilot incapacitation event. Conducts
operational reviews to assess quality and safety of global aviation service providers and briefs aviation
leadership on findings. Familiar with all aspects of BP contracted flight operations through operational
reviews, technical analysis, and interactions with assurance, audit, and line entities. Led development of
global guidance for BP Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations and currently serving as a founding

Practices(RP). Guidance is being integrated into International Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) Aircraft
Management Guidelines. Established BP Global Aviation Safety Incident Data Base, closely monitoring for
trends and lessons learned. Works closely with assurance, logistics, and aviation technical authorities to help

HSE Director, Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base, 147 Reconnaissance Wing, 2010 –2012. Senior
advisor to leadership team on all aspects of safety and risk in aviation, ground, weapons, and environmental
disciplines. Responsible for management of all aviation safety programs, local safety instructions and
reporting, served on the Emergency Operations Leadership Team and conducted exhaustive operational risk
assessments for one of the first unmanned aerial system (UAS) operations in national airspace. Major
