TINA HUNG YUTING
ABOUT ME
My name is Tina and I graduated with a BBA in Design & Business
Management from Parsons The New School For Design. I was born in Taiwan,
and raised in Singapore and China. I’ve spent 6 months studying abroad in
Paris. I see myself as a strategists, an artists, and a designer.
The world of jewelry designing and its rich history astounded me when I had
the pleasure of attending the Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry exhibition in Paris. I
think jewelry is not only about self-adornment, it is an expression of wealth,
status and personality.
With this thought in mind I decided to pursue my passion for jewelry by
learning the art of jewelry design at Fashion Institute of Technology in New
York.
My style is a mixed of antique with modernity, bringing together the past and
the present. My inspiration comes from my heart and my past experiences.
Hope you enjoy my designs!
EGYPTIAN PYRAMID
EGYPTIAN
INSPIRATION
My design was inspired by pyramids. I was really
focused on the design part, I wanted to make
the earrings look modern and pretty.
The pyramids were casted in brass and plated
yellow gold. It was then attached with pyrite
stones that I found while shopping around
Manhattan.
PYRAMID NECKLACE
This necklace was designed from
blending antique and modern
elements. I combined the antique vibe
of the chain with the modern feeling of
the pyramid to create a simple yet
nostalgic design.
The chain was sourced from China
where I communicated with the
manufacturer to create a chain that suits
my style.
Materials: brass, yellow gold, antique brass chain, swarovski crystals
OCEAN INSPIRATION
OCEANIC INSPIRATION
For this design I was inspired by the ocean. I
wanted to design something that represented
the ocean floor. The abstract shape and
swarovski crystal I used reminds me of when the
sunlight reflects on the water.
This cuff was made in sterling silver and then
plated rose gold to achieve this soft vibe.
The design went through many changes. You
can read about my process on my blog here.

FINE JEWELRY
FINE JEWELRY
For this particular ring collection it came about
from my love for natural gemstones. I love the
way they sparkles under the sunlight. Some
people also believe that gemstones give off a
spiritual power.
The rings were made out of sterling silver or 14k
yellow gold. The stones were sourced and set
by me. Stones seen here are white topaz,
aquamarine and citrine.
