Anastazio Kotsopoulos' is the founder and creative director of the eponymously named ​ ​Athens-based fine jewellery label,​ ANASTAZIO.

2. THE DESIGNER
One of Greek’s emerging and talented contemporary jewellers, Anastazio Kostopoulos’
passion for jewellery unfolded in the company of his brother, Agis Kostopoulos, a noted
gem-setter in Greece. At the age of 19, Anastazio began studying the art of stone-
setting and jewellery-making under the tutelage of his brother.
The two worked together for many years and honed their skills under the watchful eyes
of the best Greek goldsmiths, working10-14 hours every day.
Anastazio’s love for gold jewellery led him to design the Nude Love heart pendent,
Fish of Gold earrings, Contrast earrings and Cosmos pendent, among others. Desirous
of carving a niche for himself in the world of jewellery in his native country, Anastazio
made eight key pieces and presented them to the jewellers in Santorini. His talent did
not go unnoticed.
Anastazio’s vision is that his wearable handmade jewellery should be an ode to
femininity. The designs with intricate details, yet stylishly simple – Meander rings, Tears
of Love pendant, Fish of Gold earrings – reflect his approachable and creative persona.
Drawing upon geometry, textures and inspirations from Greek folklore, Anastazio’s
jewellery is steeped in craft tradition and influenced by his heritage. Through his work
Anastazio shares his love for artistic jewellery, inspired by ancient cultures, the nature
and love of feminine sexuality.
He designs in order to make the wearer feel beautiful, bring people together and inspire
compliments. The power of a compliment, believes Anastazio, can make people feel
more beautiful and confident than any other material possession.
For me bringing people together is what life is all about. My purpose is to help this process with
the fabulous art of jewellery. My jewellery is mainly designed for dynamic women with strong
personality, who like to feel unique, beautiful and confident when wearing one of my designs.

3. INSPIRATION
The main source of inspiration for the collection is ancient
Greece and its symbols. The way ancient symbols existed
and continue to preserved for eternity – a combination
of old and new, past and future.
ROAD OF STARS
Sleek rectangular cocktail ring made of 18K
yellow gold ring with white fildici marble
encased in 0.​18ct brilliant-cut diamonds.

4. NUDE LOVE
The ancient Greek philosophers believed
thattheheartwasthecentreoflife,imbuing
the body with warmth and emotions.
Made with 18K yellow gold set with 60
brilliant round diamonds of 0.55ct. The
pendant dangles on a tripled delicate
18K gold chain.
MEANDER
The oldest Greek symbol, Meander,
symbolises victory and unity, infinity
and eternal life as well as our journey in
this world.
Twenty-two brilliant round diamonds
weighing 0.42ct create the most known
Greek symbol in the middle of a perfect
cycle of 18K yellow gold.

5. DEEP FAITH
Cross as an ancient symbol represents
the balance between the elements earth,
water, wind and fire.
Made with 18K yellow gold adorned with
44 brilliant round diamonds, totalling a
weight of 0.81ct. The pendant is worn on
a tripled delicate 18K gold chain.
TEARS OF LOVE
The collection is inspired by the Greek
mythology of Faidra’s unrequited love for
Ippolito and how she tried to persuade
him with her tears.
Made with 18K yellow gold in the shape
of a tear, the design holds within it a pink
tourmaline of 0.18ct and brilliant round
diamonds of 0.235ct.

6. COSMOS
According to ancient Greece, the cosmos
symbolises the universe. Made with
18K yellow gold, the black ruthenium
embodies the infinity of the universe with
green tourmaline in 0.18ct and brilliant
round diamonds in0.275ct.
CONTRAST FACES
The design is inspired by two statues
facing each other. Athena and Marsia
represent the invention and playing of the
flute, according to Greek mythology.
The design is informed by the fildici facing
18K yellow gold adorned with brilliant
round diamonds.

7. FISH OF GOLD
Greek legends have it that wherever the
sea provides fishes, the place grew to be
wealthy.
The fish motif is made with 18K yellow
gold and the tail with smoky quartz of 8ct
set with brilliant round diamonds.
PRINCESS
The design draws its inspiration from the
legendary beauty of Helen. Her beauty
led to the eternal hate between the east
and west.
Twelve brilliant round diamonds in 0.16ct
embrace the rutilated quartz in 11ct.

8. SUN IN MOONLIGHT
The collection is informed by Greek
mythology and captures the unique
moment when the Sun meets his sister,
the Moon, for some minutes of the day.
The 18K yellow gold represents the
brilliance of the sun and the 18K white
gold represents the Moon. Its craters
are brought to life with the blue brilliant
round diamonds of 0.59ct.
EMPRESS
According to ancient history, the ring was
a symbol of power for anyone who owned
a ring.
A blue topaz of 3ct dominates one side of
the ring crafted in 18K yellow gold.

A delicate 18K white gold ring with a
row of 0.105ct brilliant-cut diamonds
punctuated with amber and tourmalines
