As the RPM, I had responsibility for parts sales in seven NE states including accounts such as: New
York City Transit, New York City MTA and New Jersey Transit, with parts sales exceeding $35M.
D&W Diesel, Auburn, NY December 2012 – February 2014
D&W Diesel repairs, remanufactures, and distributes diesel engine components, performance engine
products, truck and tank equipment, industrial products & services, and hose products. In business for over
35 years, they have expanded their product lines from starters, alternators, diesel fuel pumps and injectors,
and turbochargers to a diverse array of products.
Field Sales Representative
Development and parts sales covering a four county area in southern and central New Jersey. D&W
did not have representation in this part of the state. They purchased the assets of an existing
company to expand their presence. Customers being developed included: NJ Transit, Academy Bus
and Coach USA.

ABC Companies is the exclusive US distributor for Van Hool coaches, providing coaches, parts and service
through their six national service outlets. Annual revenue is in excess of $200M.
Territory Parts Manager, Mid-Atlantic Region
Covered a territory from NYC to VA calling on coach and transit properties including the largest
transit properties in the country - NYCTA, NJTransit, SEPTA and WMATA. Familiar with bid spec
procedures, Vendor Managed Inventory and new product testing and implementation. On a daily
basis, dealt with company CEO’s to garage personnel within the private sector, from engineering
through purchasing.
Motor Coach Industries (MCI), Schaumburg, IL 2004 - January, 2011
Technical Solutions Manager, Central Region
To provide a more focused, technical approach to their customer’s needs, field personnel were
trained in solving software and hardware technical issues at customer’s locations to reduce vehicle
downtime.
Fleet Support Manager, Western Region
Assumed additional responsibilities in Illinois as well as continuing my customer support in Michigan,
Ohio and Indiana. Revenue stream of over $3.5M in parts and service sales.
Fleet Support Manager, Team Central
Managed a three state area - Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, by providing parts and service help to
tour, charter and line run coach companies. The territory generated nearly $3M in revenue and
included the following duties:
• Developed and grew the territory in all areas of parts sales and customer relationships.
• Assisted the new coach salesperson on all deliveries.
• Solved any field issues and reported findings back to engineering in Winnipeg, MB. Pembina, SD
or Louisville, KY.
• Worked closely with the MCI Service Center in Loudonville, OH to grow the service business.
• Provided feedback history on all newly delivered vehicles to corporate.

New Jersey Transit, Howell, NJ June 2003 - June 2004
NJ Transit is New Jersey's public transportation corporation. Its mission is to provide safe, reliable,

needs and committed to excellence. Covering a service area of 5,325 square miles, NJ Transit is the

Forman
The foreman was in charge of all aspects of running the Howell, NJ bus garage for NJ Transit.
Responsibilities included:
• The first Natural Gas motor coach fleet in the country (77 MCI coaches).
• Natural Gas fueling station.

• 95 cleaners, servicemen, maintenance personnel, repairmen, and top-rate mechanics.

Detroit Diesel Corporation, Detroit, MI 1994 – 2003
Detroit Diesel Corporation (DDC) is an American-based diesel engine producer headquartered in Detroit,
Michigan. The company produces on-highway medium and heavy-duty diesel engines for the commercial
truck market, and for commercial off-road, marine and automobile use.
Senior Area Sales Manager, Off-Highway Division
Reported to the VP of Sales, Daimler Chrysler, and worked to develop off-highway drive train
systems for new and existing customers. Key responsibilities included:
• Directed heavy equipment manufacturers on new customer field developments.
• Coordinated work responsibilities for 11 distributor locations.
• Worked with a wide OEM dealer network on the deployment of new product releases.
• Worked with distributor, local dealer and OEMs to introduce 7 Detroit Diesel powered 100-ton
haul trucks, the first of its kind, and 12 articulated haul trucks to the Eastern Region.
Sales Manager, Off-Highway Division
• Managed the redevelopment of the off-highway business from New Jersey to Maine,
encompassing marine, construction, industrial, generators (prime and stand-by units) and mining
(above and below ground).
• Established and maintained a good working relationship between factory, distributor, OEM, OEM
dealer and end customer.

Regional Sales Manager-Eastern Region, Bus and Coach Regional Coordinator
• Coordinated product maintenance, sales and distribution for all public transit and private coach
operators in the area. This equated to over 13,000 pieces of equipment powered with Detroit
Diesel engines.
• Instrumental in many “firsts” for the area including:
The first Natural Gas-powered motor coach for New Jersey Transit (77 units).
The first heavy-duty articulated transit bus for Westchester County, NY (110 units).
The biggest new coach order in New Jersey Transit and national history (1300 units).
Worked closely with the FDNY (New York City Fire Department) to design a drive train
system for their new pumper trucks. They have subsequently purchased all new trucks with
Detroit Diesel power.
Electri-Wire Corporation Pewaukee, WI 1988 – 1994
EWC was a custom harness and molded cable manufacturer producing complex assemblies for the
heavy truck, industrial, medical, agriculture, construction and generator industries. EWC was a
global supplier located in the heartland of America with facilities in Pewaukee, Spring Green and
Waupun, WI.
Sales Engineer/Product Marketing Manager
Reported to the Vice President of Sales for this $15M manufacturer of molded patient monitoring
cables and surgical accessories with the following achievements:
• Worked with Marquette Electronics to develop their new replaceable lead Mac 10 patient
monitoring cable system and molded defibrillator cables.
• Assisted Burdick, Inc. to develop their new 10 lead patient cable for their EK-10 monitoring
system.
• Developed and managed over one-third of EWC’s total sales of specialty moldings in the medical
supply and medical equipment industry.
• Managed sales in eight-state Midwest area. In last three years, increased total sales
dollars to a value in excess of $5.7m.
• Developed the Midwest Region as the principal account base for EWC medical sales.
