Achievements
Created a new brand positioning strategy for Animal which was then implemented across all
internal stakeholders in sales, retail, marketing, design and development teams as part of my role
Project managed the market repositioning, range planning and design briefing of the Winter 2013
snow sports apparel category in conjunction with a freelance design team
Developed a new technical foot bed product and shoe in conjunction with D30 impact protection
technology for skate and BMX sports

December 2007 to January 2012: Animal - Retail Buying Director & Special Projects
Achievements
Directly contributed to turning round the Animal Retail Division and achieved sales in 2008 of £12.7
million at wholesale value across 25 stores (+15% like for like increase)
Developed a men’s apparel collection to target the 30 plus consumer and built it to 15% of overall
menswear sales achieving incremental sales of £180,000 at wholesale value
Increased sales of the ecommerce store to £1,600,000 at wholesale value from 2009 to 2012
Researched the market, sourced a suitable supplier partner and set up a licence agreement with
The Pryde Group UK to develop the technical product category, wetsuits. Sales of the wetsuit

year on year to £51,705,619 and delivered a gross profit increase of over 45% by December 2007
Achieved sales of £8,000,00 by 2007 (50% like for like increase) for the Blacks Outdoor Group
Developed new sales channels and consumer types for the Animal brand as a result of developing
a new product range plan strategy for the outdoor lifestyle market
