Telephone: 07809 729 546 Date of Birth: 06 June 1985

PROFILE:
I am hard working and committed and will always give 100% of my efforts. If something can be done, then I
will find a way to ensure it happens. I thrive in team based environments, but also have the capacity and
resolve to work off my own initiative. I enjoy motorsport and outdoor based pursuits. I am keen on my
fitness, both mentally and physically.
SKILLS:
Quick to learn and organised with good time management. Good communication skills gained through
working closely with contractors, and clients. Good management skills gained through working under tight
constraints in costs and time. I hold several qualifications to my name, all of which have long expiry dates. I
hold a full, clean UK driving licence. Although I have come from outside the industry to where I am now, I
believe this hasn't hindered my ability to produce a good product that I am proud to hand over to my
customers.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Barratt Homes, Site Manager February 2014 to current date
As my first stand-alone SM role I took over on a project on the east of Exeter. The development consisted of
a mix of houses and apartments. With no consistent number two, I managed to overcome all technical and
production challenges before me to achieve my June targets. In July 2014 I moved to Rydon Place, Exeter,
to push a site that was falling behind on programme. The site consists of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes, plus
some apartments which comprise of some disability units. The overall project is worth £12.5m. I managed
to achieve all December targets and was nominated for an NHBC award. We increased the programme to
an extent that June 2015 consisted of fourteen CMLs in one week. Although this was difficult, with the
support of the trades on site, all houses moved in with minor customer care issues. I am responsible for
ensuring all safety and production systems are followed along with ensuring other aspects of the site are
dealt with. Also tasked with training my assistant to be able to look after more and more of the day-to-day
running of the programme. I was recently awarded the in-house award from Barratts for Team Excellence. I
am part of the Champions Board, working closely with both the Shadow and Directors Board to deliver
information to all site teams in a way that they can understand and embrace. On site we are now beginning
the build out stage. As consortium leader of two sites, we are also responsible for implementing measures to
ensure the adoption process goes smoothly.
Persimmon Homes, Junior Site Manager May 2013 to February 2014
Following a successful period at Cranbrook, I was given responsibility of the site until a replacement site
manager was found due to the original site manager leaving the business. Following this I worked on a
variety of different projects, with a mixed bag of sub-contractors, and differing site managers. I was
eventually drafted into a site in Exeter where we were building out of one phase and commencing initial
works in the next. I was responsible for all services, materials and HA units on site, as well as supporting the
agency-employed site manager in his duties.
Persimmon Homes, Assistant Site Manager August 2011 to April 2013
As an Assistant I was made more responsible for the day-to-day running of different aspects of site. I spent
some time on different sites either covering for holiday leave or assisting when certain sites were up against

it. However most of my time was spent on the Cranbrook development at Exeter. This was a multi-
developer flagship site within the South West that was leading the way in sustainable living. I was
responsible for overseeing the implementation of the District Heating Network by E-On, along with the
installation into the individual cells. Prior to my promotion in May I was made responsible for the
implementation and completion of all Housing Association units across the site. With a large percentage of
the units across the project being HA, I enjoyed the challenge.
Persimmon Homes, Trainee Site Manager September 2010 to August 2011
I was offered a position as a Trainee Site Manager within Persimmon Homes. Early on I saw this as a
gamble from my then current career. But as time went on I began to excel in my role. I worked on a number
of different sites to help me broaden my experiences of conditions that affect the running of a project,
whether that be factors within the vicinity of the project, or on the actual grounds of the project. After 12
months in this role I had demonstrated that I could understand the principles of site management and
constructing a property to be proud to hand over.
In the period after my college (2003-2010), I worked for several different organisations and contractors in
various roles. This started as voluntary work and weekend hours. These led to permanent positions as I
demonstrated good leadership skills and I began working my way up in each business.
