• Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and
ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as theft, presence of unauthorized
persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of
unauthorized persons.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Department of Homeland Security/Transportation Security Administration (DHS/TSA)

Transportation Security Officer
• Endeavoring to deter, any act of terrorism that seeks to threaten the Nations’ Air
transportation, while detecting the vulnerabilities and violations that could impede
protecting the Nations’ Air transportation from the ever existing threat of Terrorism, both
foreign and domestic.
• Systematic and thorough utilization of DHS/TSA’s Standard Operating Procedures and
through the use of Advanced Imaging Technology machines, Magnetometers, Explosive
Trace Detection Machines, and various and sundry necessary apparatus to ensure that the
Nations’ airways and the safety of the traveling public are adhered too.
• Provide information and input to Managers and Supervisors related to events happening
in the terminal and human resources issues.
• Prepare various types of communications such as checkpoint logs, reports and documents
that are germane to the work performed.
• Test aviation security systems to ensure compliance with policies and regulations

Police Officer Uniformed Patrol
• Patrolled various neighborhoods in New York City to protect, serve and enforce the Law.
• Payroll operations; calculated the regular disbursements incurred by Police Officers in
my specific command. Recorded and monitored the use of overtime distributed
throughout the Precinct. Compiled several monthly reports regarding abuse of overtime
monies allotted the command as set forth by department policy.
• Criminal Court Arraignment Expeditor; accountable for the timely arraignment of
defendants arrested.
• Family Court Liaison; served as the direct contact for Police Officers when handling the
arrests of Juvenile offenders. Monitored the placement of PINS (persons in need of
supervision) juveniles. Responsible for the dissemination of Orders of Protections issued
to complainants.
• Liaison to New York City Board of Education; accountable for the coordination and
safety plans for the egress and progress of the students and faculty in various New York
City public schools. Responsible for the safety of the students and daily operations of an
elementary school which experienced a myriad of issues due to negative events adjacent
to the school in the neighborhood in which it serviced.
• Installed, organized and maintained an office for the School Safety Task where one had
not previously existed. Secretary to Captains and other ranking members of the
Department, maintained schedules, recorded all paperwork and completed all necessary
documents and memos needed for meetings and assignments.
• Chauffeur and operator to several commanding officers.
• Squad leader responsible for timely decisions necessitating immediate action.
