The Human resources officer is mainly responsible for maintain and an effective and accurate
records of all the personnel. His role focuses on documenting reporting and communicating the
office/personnel requirements. He is also accountable to process all data pertinent to the payroll.
Another function he would be responsible for is to respond to the employee's inquiries while ensuring
a fair and appropriate working environment
Key Responsibilities
• Ensures a personnel document that includes all the legal and personal documents in regards to
their Iqama, work permits, visa etc…
• Prepares all the required hiring documentation such as; Employee Handbook, Name Badge, GOSI
registration, position’s job description, to ensure a smooth enrollment for new hires.
• Collects the monthly attendance sheets and submits to the finance department for payroll
processing.
• Monitor the time/attendance, leave and absence systems in accordance with applicable policies
and guidelines.

• a. Resignation/ Termination Pay
• b. Loan Request
• c. Housing Advance
• d. Vacation Pay
• e. Other additional payment
• Collects and identifies potential candidates for future occurring vacancies.
• Offers the selected candidates the job offer and gets the candidate on board in a timely effective
manner.
• Conducts orientation and induction programs for newly hired candidates.
• Prepares performance management documents to facilitate the Management’s yearly performance
assessment. • Coordinates the departmental training plan on yearly basis and submits it for
validation and approval.

Description
Hiring private security has become common. There are large security agencies that
provide security toindividuals and companies who can afford it. There are assigned
teams of security officers and the team is headed by a security supervisor. To know more

Security supervisors are in charge of the whole security team. Security personnel are
usually employed in a large number to protect a certain area and hence, a supervisor is
required to coordinate amongst all the officers. They communicate with each one of
them through walkie-talkies and give them instructions.
CCTV's are a common sight nowadays, and it is here that the security supervisor is
mostly stationed. They keep an eye on all the CCTV video that is being streamed. They

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 Report directly to vessels Security Officer, will also follow orders given by the Captain, Staff
Captain, Chief Officer and Navigation Officer on duty.
 Be familiar with the topography of the vessel and its standard operating procedures. Including
his/her responsibilities in the Safety Organization according to the Emergency Plan and Station
Bill.
 Develop and provide intelligence to the vessel Security Officer as it relates to any unusual activity
and assist the Security Officer with investigative matters (Serious and Minor Crimes, Incidents,
Accidents and Illegal Narcotic activity, etc.) as needed.
 Initiate vulnerability and facilitate studies responsible to identify, evaluate, anticipate and
recognize potential and existing security related problems and report.
 Maintain timely entries in vessel's security log and the orderly flow of all security related reports.
 Monitor supply and service point access control.
 Conduct passenger hand baggage screening.
 Conduct physical searches of crew baggage and their luggage.
 Maintain security/fire/safety patrols in accordance with the ships standard operating procedure.
 Keep abreast of all rules, regulations and procedures regarding drills, emergency evacuations,
etc. of assigned vessel to include vessel Contingency and Ship Security Plan.
 Ensure that the Ship’s Rules and Regulations are followed at all times. Report all incidents to the
Security Officer.
 Be familiar with Customs, Immigration and other Federal and Government rules and regulations
as they pertain to your vessel while in port and enforce all rules and regulations where applicable.
 Maintain strict passenger guest and crew gangway security in order to ensure proper ingress and
egress of authorized persons while vessel is in port. Operate and monitor walk through metal
detectors and x-ray equipment as directed. Self-discipline and control must always be
maintained.
 Responsible for giving assistance to guests and crew when necessary, and also maintaining a
careful watch for irregular situations that may cause injury or discomfort to passengers and crew
or their possessions.
 Do not enter a stateroom without permission and whenever possible there shall be two persons
present when entering any cabin.
 Maintain the ship’s Fire/Security/Safety Patrol Route during times as directed by the Security
Officer. Be alert of any indication of fire, and investigate immediately if any causes for concern.

actively in the monthly Crew Safety and Environmental committee meeting. He/she will, along
with the Security Officer, uphold the highest standards. The Security Supervisor will be rated as a
Two Stripe Officer within the Deck Department.
 Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not
preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
 Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS, and carry
out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
Responsibilities and Duties:
 Serves as on-site contact between Management and support team, furthering a long-term and
mutually beneficial business relationship.
 Supervises the daily operations of security officers.
 Ensuring the timely completion of administrative functions such as Daily Security Recaps, Daily
Activity Reports, Incident Reports, logs, etc.
 Prepare written reports, in a clear and concise method that meets the needs and requirements of
the security department and the property management.
 Promotes professionalism within the security team. Coordinates and monitors the operational
effectiveness of the staff in delivery of services and with the assistance of the Regional Security
Director and or Portfolio Manager, develops, recommends and implements necessary program
changes to meet the client’s goals and objectives.
 Monitors, advises, and updates management contacts of all information regarding security issues.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
 To operate and monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner
ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with security operating
procedure, legislation and Raffles code of practice/ethics.
 To liaise with the police, service providers and internal concerned departments to
ensure that appropriate use of the system.
 To include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to
the rules of evidence.
 To record all events and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate written
occurrence book supported by the dedicated raffles standards format.
 To provide an efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service and
deal efficiently with all enquires.
 To report equipment failure to the security supervisor to maximize operation of the
system.
 To maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations
set up by Department of Protective Systems (Dubai Police) and to ensure the
security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times.
 To maintain the provision of information required by the security director and
assistant security director and to assist the monitoring of the CCTV system in
accordance with DPS regulations and the continuity and admissibility of evidential
material.
 To support security director and assistant security director by providing monitoring of
the maintenance agreements to ensure full provision of the system.
 To be aware of your responsibilities in terms of health and safety including
appropriate health and safety training.
 To ensure that you approach your duties taking into consideration Raffles gentle
service.
 Conduct regular checks on all "field" officers to assure they are alert and carrying out
their duties efficiently and effectively
 Assist in conducting investigations and prepare accompanying investigation reports
for cases which occur within the Hotel involving:
oCriminal acts, losses or accidents caused to lives and properties
oStaff misconduct
oCases affecting guests or staff that are of concern to Management
 Surveillance of hotel staff:
oEnsure that they abide by House Rules
oKeep tag on movements of staff who are classified as suspects under
investigations
 Keep peace and order within the premises of the Hotel in dealing with criminals,
trespassers or difficult characters
 Keep the Director of Security and assistant security director constantly posted on all
matters of security interest affecting the Hotel and the Department.
 Conduct regular and periodical checks and take immediate follow-up action on all
systems including CCTV system.
 Attend meetings and in-service training conducted by the Department
 The CCTV system operates 24 hours a day 365 days per year. As such the CCTV
Operator will be required to operate on a shift basis to provide full cover for the
scheme.

As a Guest Service Supervisor, you will oversee the front office activities between the
Guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments. A Guest Service Supervisor is
responsible for supervising the activities that create the first impressions of our Guests and,

 Supervise Front Desk operations during your assigned shift to a consistently high
standard

pricing and special promotional offers, as well as daily VIP and special events

 Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of Team Members with an
emphasis on training and team work
 Maximize sales revenues through up-selling or similar programs
 Manage Guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and completely
 Maintain the professional appearance of the Front Desk with a focus on hospitality
and Guest service
 Driving new ideas to generate incremental revenue or manage existing expenses

Responsibilities:
1. To be accountable for the security, fire safety and safety of the Serviced Apartment, its tenants,
visitors, employees, contractors and assets.
2. In conjunction with the Operations Manager, to implement and administer security, loss control,
key control, fire safety and safety procedures.
3. To continually evaluate and provide recommendations to the Operations Manager for the
improvement of security and fire safety procedures in the various departments, particularly with
regards the storage, key control, storage and handling of flammable and inflammable materials.
4. To conduct investigations into matters relating to fire, accidents, physical injury, damage, threat,
vehicle accident, disruption where theft/fraud/loss/ injury/ damage has occurred, suspected to have
occurred or is likely to occur.
5. Gathers and collects intelligence information concerning the security and safety of the Apartment.

and harmony of the complex.
12. Monitors the movement of employees and other person throughout the serviced apartment, giving
special attention to plant rooms, storage areas.
13. Monitors the route taken by employees when commencing and concluding duty.
14. Investigates any occurrence or event associated with the security, fire safety, safety and
prepared a detailed incident report for the information of Chief of Security.
15. Notifies the Engineering Department all maintenance defects detected during patrol relating to
security, fire safety and safety.
16. To daily check all equipment to ensure they are kept in good condition and not used by any staff
of other departments.
17. To daily check the Key Control Book and report to Chief of Security any discrepancies as regards
operational keys
18. Visits each security guard frequently to ensure they are performing their duties satisfactorily.
19. To be conversant with all fire and emergency procedures and equipment.
20. Assumes any other responsibility and perform other duties as may be assigned by the
Management.
Experience:
Have worked in the Police or Army.
At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Chief of Security or Assistant to Chief of Security in the
hospitality industry.
Competencies:
Conversant with Laws (Criminal/ Civil Code, Labour Law, Foreign Investment Law).
Good relation with Authorities.
Good written and verbal communication in the English Language.
Attributes:

  • 1. Job Description The Human resources officer is mainly responsible for maintain and an effective and accurate records of all the personnel. His role focuses on documenting reporting and communicating the office/personnel requirements. He is also accountable to process all data pertinent to the payroll.   • 9. Responsibilities: 1. To be accountable for the security, fire safety and safety of the Serviced Apartment, its tenants, visitors, employees, contractors and assets. 2. In conjunction with the Operations Manager, to implement and administer security, loss control, key control, fire safety and safety procedures. 3. To continually evaluate and provide recommendations to the Operations Manager for the improvement of security and fire safety procedures in the various departments, particularly with regards the storage, key control, storage and handling of flammable and inflammable materials. 4. To conduct investigations into matters relating to fire, accidents, physical injury, damage, threat, vehicle accident, disruption where theft/fraud/loss/ injury/ damage has occurred, suspected to have occurred or is likely to occur. 5. Gathers and collects intelligence information concerning the security and safety of the Apartment. 6. To regularly liaise with the various Department Heads- the objective being directed towards the safe, secure, efficient and harmonious operations of the Apartment, in conjunction with the function of the Security Department. 7. Gathers, collates information and provides recommendations as regards security, fire safety equipment, CCTV and carefully any installation of such equipment. 8. To be available for urgent call as soon as possible, if and when required. 9. To liaise with Human Resource department to educate all staff in security/ fire safety procedures 10. To frequently patrol the external and internal areas of the serviced apartment from the top to the basement to ensure the security, fire, safety of the complex and its occupants. 11. Provides whatever physical support may be necessary to ensure the security, fire safety, safety and harmony of the complex. 12. Monitors the movement of employees and other person throughout the serviced apartment, giving special attention to plant rooms, storage areas. 13. Monitors the route taken by employees when commencing and concluding duty. 14. Investigates any occurrence or event associated with the security, fire safety, safety and prepared a detailed incident report for the information of Chief of Security. 15. Notifies the Engineering Department all maintenance defects detected during patrol relating to security, fire safety and safety. 16. To daily check all equipment to ensure they are kept in good condition and not used by any staff of other departments. 17. To daily check the Key Control Book and report to Chief of Security any discrepancies as regards operational keys
  • 10. 18. Visits each security guard frequently to ensure they are performing their duties satisfactorily. 19. To be conversant with all fire and emergency procedures and equipment. 20. Assumes any other responsibility and perform other duties as may be assigned by the Management. Experience: Have worked in the Police or Army. At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Chief of Security or Assistant to Chief of Security in the hospitality industry. Competencies: Conversant with Laws (Criminal/ Civil Code, Labour Law, Foreign Investment Law). Good relation with Authorities. Good written and verbal communication in the English Language.
