1. SIEMENS AChT ReGenX Demonstration Summary
On July 6th
, 2018 Potential Difference Inc. provided a live ReGenX and Bi-Toroid Transformer demonstration to Siemens at its lab facility in
Almonte Ontario. This followed a similar demonstration on July 5th
to Advanced Chemical Technologies Inc’s in response to their desire to scale
up and employ the ReGenX Generator and Bi-Toroid innovations in their methanol production facilities; scale up to 30MW by 2021.
PDi invited AChT and Siemens to a technology demonstration scheduled over 2 days (10 – 16 hours) in order to:
1. Present the innovations and receive initial criticisms and critiques on Day 1.
2. Address the critiques in the lab on Day 2 with the evaluator present.
Siemens elected to spend 1 hour at the demonstration.
The Siemens evaluator provided several critiques of the ReGenX Generator and Bi-Toroid Transformer innovations to the group assembled.
The evaluator’s critiques were primarily based on unsubstantiated, unproven, outdated criticisms which were essentially plagiarized from 2008
Wikipedia information and then presented to the group his own evaluations completely ignoring the present 2018 state of the innovations and
without disclosing the information source to the group.
Any hope for truth and professionalism went out the window as soon as the Siemens evaluator was allowed to present his real agenda.
PDi has been aware of these Wikipedia criticisms and has dealt with them all successfully while in the Power Lab at the University of Ottawa
from 2008 – 2010.5

PDi spent the weekend going through the prototypes in order to address the criticisms presented as we would have done if we would have been
allowed to provide the 2 day demonstration as requested.
This process is very easy, simple and obvious to anyone and certainly and to an adequately trained, well informed and sincere, open and honest
engineer.

2. Separating FACT from Internet FICTION and INNUENDO
This section will outline each of the Siemens evaluator’s objections and clarify each one with up to date and relevant information which is
supported by actual factual test data which can be substantiated and reproduced by anyone.
The absurdity of the critiques offered by the Siemens evaluator become immediately obvious.
Siemens Evaluator Objection #1
1) HYSTERISIS BRAKE THEORY – 2) CORE SATURATION THEORY – 3) NO ELECTRICAL OUTPUT POWER THEORY - FROM WIKIPEDIA
THE ReGenX GENERATOR IS BASICALLY JUST A HYSTERISIS BRAKE WHICH REQUIRES MAGNETICALLY SATURATED CORES IN ORDER TO

SHORTED OUT) WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY RELAEASING HYSTERISIS DRAG ON THE PRIME MOVER DUE TO GENERATOR CORE ON-LOAD CORE

WIKIPEDIA Criticism
Critics of the system have pointed out that the system described by Heins simply demonstrates a change in the motor's hysteresis drag, increasing
the speed of the rotor but not producing any energy.[13]
In other words, when the rotor exhibits acceleration following a specific electrical
short-out, the device is merely more efficiently converting the input electricity to mechanical energy than in the other test configurations.
(3) NO ELECTRICAL OUTPUT POWER THEORY
The unproven theory here is that when the ReGenX Coil’s are shorted out (and do not deliver any electrical output power), the cores become
saturated with magnetic flux and this releases the mechanical drag on the prime mover and allowing acceleration to occur.
This report and the 3rd
party validated test data which was provided to the Siemens evaluator prior to the demonstration clearly shows the
ReGenX Generator delivering useable electrical output power to the loads and in fact more electrical output power than is provided by the
conventional generator coil and transformer under identical operating conditions.
Prior to the meeting and demonstrations the Siemens evaluator admitted that he refused to read the report provided.

3. (2) HYSTERISIS BRAKE THEORY - CORE SATURATION THEORY
The photo data to the right demonstrates a ReGenX Generator Coil core with 2.55
Amps of electrical current being delivered to it. The oscilloscope shows the coil’s
current sine wave (yellow) and voltage sine wave (blue).
Core saturation is NOT evident because the current sine wave is not distorted.

4. As flux density approaches saturation, the magnetizing current waveform becomes distorted.

In order to saturate the ReGenX Generator and Bi-Toroid Metglass cores, a minimum of 3.41 Amps of electrical current is required. Metglass is
employed as the core material because it has very low Hysteresis.
All of the ReGenX and Bi-Toroid Transformer prototypes were carefully and professionally designed to operate with coils currents acceptable
range which were always below 3.41 Amps.
Prototype No 1 operates with core current in the 1 Amp range. (2.4 Amps below core saturation)
Prototype No. 2 transformer operates with core current in the 0.2 Amp range and generator in the 1.3 Amp range. (3.2 A and 2.1 A below
core saturation respectively)
Protype No. 3 operates with core current in the 2 Amp range. (1.4 A below core saturation)
During the demonstration while the Siemens evaluator was presenting “his core saturation theory” – I informed him that core saturation was
never an issue and if it was it would be obvious and self evident on the oscilloscope sine wave photo data with distorted current sine waves. The
evaluator refused to acknowledge the information when it was provided.

5. The photo data to the right shows the ReGenX coils current before it enters the
conventional transformer.

NOTE:
Current magnitudes NEVER exceed 3.41 Amps - therefore no core saturation
occurs which is also clearly demonstrated on the oscilloscope since the current
sine waves are not distorted.
During the demonstration discussion the Siemens evaluator suggested to the group that we provide rotor magnetic field strength (Gauss)
readings in order to rule out the core saturation hypothesis.
I informed the evaluator that we had ruled out the core saturation idea (in 2008) and have been carefully designing permanent magnet rotors
and generator coil cores with our suppliers to operate within core magnetic flux tolerances since 2008 and core saturation has never been an
issue.

6. Siemens Evaluator Objection #2
THE ReGenX GENERATOR IS A PERMANENT MAGNET GENERATOR (PMG) AND IS NOT SCALEABLE AND IS NOT PRACTICAL AS AN ELECTRIC
FIELD EXCITED GENERATOR.
General Electric has demonstrated that 6MW PMG designs are perfectly feasible.

Potential Difference Inc. designed, built and tested a ReGenX Generator using a DC field excited
rotor from a car alternator in 2015.
Our tests showed that the DC field excited generator was superior in performance to the permanent
magnet rotor design because the rotor field could be adjusted (increased or decreased) to
accommodate load demands.

8. Siemens Evaluator Statement #4
PDi ONLY PROVIDES CAREFULLY CONTROLLED DEMONSTRATIONS TAILORED TO SHOW ONLY WHAT THEY WANT
AND DO NOT ALLOW EVALUATORS TO INVESTIGATE OR CHANGE ANYTHING.
The truth is PDi invites and requests that demonstration attendees ensure that everything is correct, above board and solicits
important input on how to make the demonstrations and technologies better (and certainly does so when requesting that
professionals sign their names and stake their reputations on test data).
We have been doing so since 2008 while at the University of Ottawa and are still doing so today.
California Diesel and Power, Toroid Technologies, GAL Power Systems and Electron Energy Corporation have all been providing
important ongoing feedback and suggestions for over 10 years.

9. Meeting Summary
It was clear and obvious from the outset that Siemens was using this opportunity to sell its services to AChT and that this may or may not include
ReGenX Generator and Bi-Toroid Transformer innovations. The opportunity warranted the risk.
PDi, after all was using this opportunity to introduce their innovations to AChT and Siemens and to leverage the AChT opportunity in order to get
Siemens on board.
What wasn’t clear to anyone was that the Siemens evaluator had a disingenuous and hidden agenda and was planning to try to first, disrupt,
discredit and dismiss the ReGenX Generator and Bi-Toroid innovations as frivolous non-innovations in order to achieve his second objective.
In order to achieve these objectives the Siemens evaluator had to first, discredit himself personally and professionally in front of a sincere group
of professionals who were counting on him to offer an unbiased professional assessment. Instead deception and lies were the primary order of
the day and days leading up to the event.
When the Siemens evaluator refused to read the Siemens Report, he stated that he didn’t want to be biased in any way when in fact he most
likely didn’t want anything to jeopardize his true hidden agenda.
The truth is very simple:
1) The ReGenX Generator and Bi-Toroid Transformer both DO deliver useable output power.
2) The Generator and Bi-Toroid Transformer innovations do NOT rely on core saturation to relieve Hysteresis drag in order to provide
system acceleration.
3) No core saturation is evident and Magnetic Field Strength (Gauss) readings are not required.
4) The ReGenX Generator works perfectly as a Permanent Magnet Generator and even better as a Field Excited Generator.
5) PDi does NOT manipulate demonstration data in order to provide controlled and misleading information and test data.
6) PDi does rely on and continually requests outside input in order to improve the innovations and the demonstrations.
