INTRODUCTION
The internship program is designed to provide
students engaged in a field experience with an
opportunity to their insight.
I selected right natural spring water which is
owned by Mai- Aynee as interest to serve as
a transition from the academic experience s
to the professional, setting, taking to an
entry level of functioning within the practice
for water treatment.
Cont…
 Right natural spring water is a factory which is
owned by the Mai Aynee business, it distributes
natural spring water in Ethiopia mainly in Tigrai
the company has been in existed since 2012, it is
found at the highland of GOLA which is in the
eastern part of Adi- Grat city in the Shoa
Northern part Ethiopia.
The right natural spring water company has its
own management Hierarchy starting from the
top up to bottom level, the structures are listed
as the falling.
Objective
The right natural spring water company water
company has its own objective. It represent and
advocator the interest of bottled water
producers bottlers and companies at national
and regional level.
• To satisfy customers with qualified water
• To get profit with fair price
• For stable life of region and nation
• To encourage socially responsible and
sustainable management practices.
My objective
 To gets experience of about safety equipment
 To know the use of chemical in product
To know how to manage equipment and
material
METHODOLOGY
Process for Water Treatment
Sand Filter
• The sand filter is used for the simple filtration from water of
visible dirt or suspended mater ( turbidity ) due to silt, sand
organic matter, and rust type participle.
Activated Carbon Filter
• Activated carbon filter are primarily used to remove
objectionable taste and adopts from water, and are effective in
removing.
Reverse Osmosis System
• This reverse osmosis system controls all the liquefy solid
particles and converts hard water in to softy water.
Ultraviolet Purifiers
• Ultraviolet water purification is a unique rapid methods of
water disinfection without the use of heat or chemicals.
• Ultraviolet water purifiers utilize germicidal ultraviolet
lamps that produces short wave radiation is lethal to
bacteria viruses and other micro organisms present in
water.
Ozone Treatment
. The ozone treatments increase the shelf life of water.
To make sure mineral water is held secure, free from
infectivity, ultraviolet treatment and ionization
process is passed out.
RESULT
 The final product remains filing part when all the procedure has been
completed and the bottle cleaned and germ- free then are prepare for
filling process from the processed water storage it is filled in can bottles
in a variety of size, after filling it is prepared for capping sealing and
examination.
• Printing 7 step in the filing process.
• Bottle is clean with air pressure
• The bottle is loaded with water
• The bottle is potted with a cap
• The bottle takes place for labeling
• All compulsory information’s like marketing both number,
reducing date , expiry date
• Inspection of the bottle like checking sealing
• Printing and filling
• Finally packed product after 24 hours products distribute to
consumers
Activities what I do in the internship
• Observing alls structural of the organization
• Usage of chemicals for the reaction
• Handing of safety equipments
• Hierarchical structure of the institution
• Steps of water processing
• Methods creating business man
Challenges what I get in the
internship
• Lack of provide budget
• Lack of time
• Lack of electric power
• The company doesn’t allow to give choice for
the activities
• Lack pure information
• My activities war depend only on the
observation, because the private company
doesn’t want to waste the chemicals
Conclusions
 In general the internship was very interesting because my
objective my has been achieved I have gotten knowledge
about water treatment step by step from the capitation of raw
water to drinkable water and analyze different ions and other
elements.
Recommendations
• It should be better to the university of Ambo to make
relationship with many industries, laboratories and other
companies where biology laboratory can be applied in order
to get enough knowledge for the students.
• Find reagent that are lacking in order to perform well water
analysis because same elements are not analyzed like iron,
organic matter and other icons.
• Regulate the electrical power by applying by applying electric
power supply to increase water production
