5. This tense expresses a past event that has
present consequences.
It tells us that an action happened at an
unspecified time before now.
The exact time isn’t important in this tense.
You can’t use this tense with specific time
expressions such as:
Yesterday, one year ago, last week, when I was
a child, when I lived in Japan etc.

7. •The verb is always in the past
participle form.
e.g. wanted, buried, walked,
hidden, dropped, come, blown
etc.
It means that the past participle/
3rd form of verb is used in this
tense. i.e. verb with-ed
