11. As a digital artist, I am most proud of my Victor Bicentennial logo
design. I feel like this brought together all of my skills as a
successful artist, while still creating something that is usable for
the customer, and pleasing to the audience. It has a polished,
professional look that I am pleased to have accomplished!
If I could do one project over, it would be the Arcimboldo style
portrait. With my current knowledge of blending, and creating a more
cohesive collage in Photoshop, I feel like I could be more
successful. When I did it the first time, it was too sloppy for my
taste, but I wasn’t sure how to fix it. Now I know!
I think that computer generated art has a strong role in my future.
It is fun, challenging, and a good solution to my starving artist
fears. I want to be an artist, but I don’t want to be one that
doesn’t get jobs. Computer generated art is a growing and changing
field, and I can use it to supplement an illustration career, by
doing graphic design and advertising. I am really interested in all
of these fields, and I know that it will always have plenty to keep
me busy and interested. I didn’t realize I would love computer
related art as much as I do, because I’m not very tech-y, but now I
realize that it doesn’t limit my creativity at all, and I can improve
my skills with every project.
