7. A descriptive cross sectional design was used
to estimate the prevalence of overweight and
obesity among adolescents in Maijdee city
Noakhali. Data collection was conducted with
a sample population composed of-

Total=320 of 13 to 19 years of age.
8. It can be done by following ways-
1. All data were put on excel sheet to get mean
± standard deviation about BMI, age, weight,
height and also used for chart, graph and
diagram preparation.
2. Finally, tables were prepared in accordance
with the objectives of the study in Microsoft
word.
16. The prevalence of underweight, overweight,
and obesity among male adolescents were
18.9%, 9.44% and 0.56% and female
adolescents were 30.7%, 3.57% and 1.43%
respectably.
17. There is a moderate prevalence of overweight
and obesity among adolescents in Maijdee
city of Noakhali.
The prevalence of overweight and obesity
among boys in this study was high compared
to girls.
