Responsibilities
 Ensuring safe and reliable operation of power
complex and managing the complex load, 500KV
grid voltage, 50Hz frequency as demanded by
NPCC.
 Document commissioning processes, performance
results and start-up reports for Operation and
Maintenance team (O&M)
 Monitoring overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
and do the needful to action improve OEE.
 Maintaining the various records such as monthly
operating reviews, oil/winding temperature of
Reactors/Transformer, DGA, daily log sheets etc.
 Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reports of
the converter station activities.
 Performed the Switching operation with the
coordination of NPCC and RCC.
 Performed Preventive maintenance using thermal
imaging camera, DGA etc.
 Involved in Installation and Testing of Power
Transformer (35/11 KV).
 Witnessed the AC commissioning tests and DC
commissioning at Matiari converter station.
 Supervising all ongoing work at yard and line.
 Understood the IEC standards and knowledge of
company safety policies to ensure a safe working
environment.
 Thoroughly studied primary diagrams of electrical
equipment and secondary diagram of control and
protection.
