Internship at WAPDA Nandipur Power Station (Gujranwala), from 22 June, 2015 - 31 July,
2015 for a period of 5 Weeks.
During my internship, I was able to enhance my knowledge regarding the Power Generation,
Transmission and Distribution system of Power Plant. I gathered a vast knowledge about the
Generation of the electricity and how it is transmitted to the Small Grid Stations.

The title of our Final Year Project was “SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM WITH DC-DC CONVERTER’’. The main
aspects of the projects are
∑ Implementation of solar system on Software.
∑ Implementation of a solar tracking system on hardware by Arduino 1(NANO).
∑ Research on Perturb and Observe Algorithm that achieve fast and accurate tracking performance.
∑ Design and implementation of Maximum Power Point Tracking with DC-DC converter.
∑ Implementation and interfacing of the overall system using Arduino Mega.
∑ Design and implementation of inverter.
∑ Convert DC current to AC current.
∑ Measure the Meter current of line A and Line B.
∑ Design PC GUI which display the solar output, battery efficiency and shows line current.
