 Talent management is defined as the methodically organized, strategic
process of getting the right talent onboard and helping them grow to
their optimal capabilities keeping organizational objectives in mind.
 Talent Management Process:
 Attracting and Recruiting qualified backgrounds
 Managing and defining competitive salaries.
 Training and Development.
 Performance management process.
 Retention programs.
 Promotion and Transitioning.
Attracting & Recruiting
 Infosys gives attribute based advertising.
 Infosys has taken a step to find the available talent pool by working with
education regulators and academia.
 They use specialist recruitment services.
 It has two ways of recruitment- campus recruitment, off-campus recruitment.
 Campus recruitment will take place in institute. For off-campus we need to apply
directly through Campus Connect program.
 An aptitude test will be conducted and the duration of selection process is about
2.5 Hours.
Training and Development
 Infosys is focusing on continuous training and development of their employees.
 Every new employee undergoes 3 months of training.
 In addition to technical course, candidates were also exposed to courses on
communication skills, interpersonal skills, management development and quality
systems.
Retention of Talent
 There are some specific factors that affect the retention ratio of the company. One
of them is Company Image.
 Company image of Infosys is very high in the current market. It stood as one of
the top 10 It companies.
 Learning opportunity is also a reason for employee retention. Infosys has a well
developed training infrastructure.
 Infosys working environment is pleasant, which will kmotivate the employee to
retain in the company.
 In order to retain work knowledge, a competitive salary package is offered at
Infosys.
Transitioning
 Through the development of individual employees, effective talent management
focuses on the collective change and progress of the company. This means
making each employee feel like they are a part of something bigger.
 Infosys provides change of position, promotion or transfer.
 Infosys provides retirement benefits to the employees.
 It conducts Exit interviews
