INTRODUCTION
The 'ONLINE PLACEMENT CELL' is developed to
maintain the details of student information and information
about the company and their vacancies.
This project is aimed at developing an web application for
the Placement Cell of the College.
Students logging should be able to upload their
personal and academic details and resume. Also companies
can list on the placement cell and they can post their
vacancies. This allow registered students can directly applied
for that vacancies.

In Various colleges, placement officers have to
manage the students profile and documents of
students for their placement manually.
Placement Officer have to collect the information of
various companies who want to recruit students and
notify students time to time about them.
If any modifications or updates are required in the
profile of any student, it has to searched and to be
done it manually.
EXISTING SYSTEM

Facilitate students in college, company to register and
communicate with Placement Office
There are options for a new register separately for
student and company
A registered student to directly login using username
and password. In the student registration form, we
can give personal details, educational qualifications,
and professional skills and upload resume
PROPOSED SYSTEM

A registered company can directly login using
username and password. Company can report their
vacancies.
The administrator plays an important role in our
project. They provide approval of student registration
,company registration and vacancy approval .

ADMINISTRATOR MODULE
The administrator is the one who controls all the
activities of an online placement cell.
Approves the company registration

Approves the new vacancy

USER MODULE
A User enters his username and password and can login
to his home page where he is having options to add
and update his/her personal and academic profile.
He/she can view job notifications and can quickly
respond to the job notification. Users have the privilege
to see the application status.

COMPANY MODULE
A company enters his username and password and can
login to his home page where he is having options to
update the details and have a facility to post their
vacancy. Users have the privilege to see the students
who are applied for that vacancy and view /download
the details of accepted students.
