Supporting the Revenue Management Lifecycle
Revenue management is an end-to-end lifecycle of processes for generating,
capturing, and collecting revenue for each customer. Revenue management

Revenue generation enables the delivery of services at optimal prices for the user,
service provider, and partner. Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue
Management’s powerful pricing management capabilities enable service providers
to easily meet sophisticated customer and market demands by offering total pricing
flexibility and unparalleled time-to-market performance. Convergent prepaid and
postpaid services are supported in a single subscriber account as well as complex
account hierarchies and charging relationships. With real-time access to customer
data, service providers can now centrally manage their customers and partners, and

Revenue Capture
Revenue capture is the process of charging for the delivery of assets and services,
using competitive pricing models and flexible balance and credit controls to create
compelling offerings for the customer. Oracle Communications Billing and
Revenue Management delivers revenue capture capabilities for voice, data, content
services, and assets on fixed, mobile, and IP networks using prepaid, postpaid, and
e-wallet payment options. Through sophisticated real-time authentication,
authorization, and accounting (AAA), and a powerful convergent rating engine,
events are rated, account balances are updated, and financial information is posted

Revenue collection ensures all bills and invoices are generated, and appropriate
