2016- Working as Data Quality Assurance Officer for Abt Associates under Africa Indoor
Residual Spray (AIRS) for Mansa District.
Responsibilities:
Recognising the need for good quality data and how I can contribute to it.
Knowing the implication of poor data quality in their area in term of internal and external
accountability.
To analyse, clean and enter data.
To report any systematic data quality issues to the manager to ensure remedial action is
taken.
To ensure good data quality on security and data protection.
2016- Worked as Airtel Money Agent Developer for Samfya district.
2015- Worked as Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant on Africa Indoor residual Spray (AIRS)
program for Abt Associates in Samfya district.
Responsibilities included:
Work closely and on a daily basis with the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator on all data
collection, data entry and data analysis
Provide day-to-day supports in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, interviews, surveys,
data clarity and data delivery
Provide day to day verifying data quality and ensure all data is input into database platform and
analysed in an integrity manner.
Under the supervision of M&E Coordinator, perform other tasks as required. .
2. 2014 October to 20 December 2014, worked as Mafinga District Data Entry Clerk (DEC) with
Abt Associates Inc. and AIRS- Zambia Chainama Hills hospital Lusaka.
Responsibilities included:
1. Review spray operators forms for accuracy and completeness before entering data
2. Advising M&E and the IRS Manager about the errors to help timely corrections in the field
3. Enter data
4. Maintain security system that prevents unauthorised access to data
5. Cleaning data before syncing to the server
6. Writing reports as requested
7. Analysing data
2014 April to June As Research Assistant I participated in the USAID, Sustainability Through
Economic Strengthening Prevention for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Youth and Other
Vulnerable Populations (STEPS-OVC), the programme supported the government of Zambia to
provide a range of the health and social service interventions to orphans and vulnerable children
(OVC) and social service interventions to OVC and people living with HIV and AIDS (PLHIV). The
overall goal of the STEPS OVC project was to provide broad, effective support for HIV prevention
and behaviour change initiatives, reducing HIV transmission, while simultaneously helping Zambia
develop the ability to care for and support OVC, at –risk youths and adults, and other vulnerable
populations, more effectively, efficiently and sustainability in Zambia.
2014, worked as Research Assistant on a survey; sexual and gender based violence (SGBV) for
Defence Force Medical Services; Project Concern International (PCI). The research targeted over
eighty per cent (80%) military units in Zambia
2012- driver/Research Assistant in a base line survey with the University of Zambia Research
Institute respectively (INESOR). Core responsibilities included the following: data collection, data
entry and analysis. Research study topics covered in this period included health; WASH; HIV and
AIDS.
2011- I worked as a Research Assistant in a study of livestock on small scale farmers.
2011- I participated as a Research Consultant for Millward Brown East Africa and the University of
Zambia Research Institute respectively. Core responsibilities included the following: data collection,
data entry and analysis. Research study topics covered in this period included health; WASH; HIV
and AIDS; Livelihood and perception of professional organisations within the Accountancy industry.
POSITIONS HELD/ RESPONSIBILITIES
(2012).I was the Secretary and one of the founders of the Leadership Development Network (LDN)
in charge of networking and relations building in tertiary institutions. LDN focuses on entrepreneurial
skills whose target groups are tertiary population.
(2006-08) - I participated in ABCD Lifestyle Campaigns under the theme: “Youth responding to the
call of Christ” also “training trainers to be trainers of the youth”. This was conducted annually
educating young people in the fight against HIV & AIDS, corruption, substance abuse, irresponsible
sexual behaviours and poverty.
(2006/7)- National Gender and Human Rights Officer of Association of Catholic Tertiary Students
(ACTS) in South Africa. I Coordinated implementation of ACTS’ activities in all Universities in
South Africa. We educated the university communities on issues of Gender development and Human
Rights issues in all the targeted universities and other communities. This covered issues on human
rights, gender equality, and poverty reduction and to be self-reliant.
