They use the focus of 80% of women’s negative body talk is
about themselves and want to change that by encourage
women to tweet positively about them selves using the
Hashtag #speakiingBeautiful. They have lots of positive
videos mixed in with some adds like these. Right now
Twitter is there major focus out of all the platforms. It
seems to be the most stand out to reach a larger audience.

This is from their Facebook page in April. Advertises there
product but also encourages to love yourself and those curls.
Most of there adds are also directed to something that is going

Mothers day lots of connections.
They use their Instagram to share peoples personal story’s of finding there own beauty or becoming comfortable with them
selves. They share the fact that everyone is beautiful and not edit or change the true beauty of women. The also feel the feed
with motivating and inspiring words.

ABSTRACT
SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM
For dove there large social media push came in 2012 when they launched their beautiful
women campaign. The company noticed that there was lot of negative body attention in the
media and a lot towards women. The company decided to change that idea by launching 3
different app all focused toward the positivity of women and their natural beauty. With the
launch of the apps their fan base grew by 75% and their members grew by 61,255 in that
time. They now launch new pushes toward more specific areas of women to share the idea of
speaking beautiful.
Dove continues to push their social media growth buy using lots of different platforms
including, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Pintrest. This use of images of their product
and naturally looking women has really grown their brand name and what they stand for.
Right now Dove is really using twitter to encourage #SpeakingBeautiful. Dove has its own
team of Marketing and social media experts that have created not only a change with in
Dove but in the world.
