  8. 8. FacebookStats:<br />Has over 50million members worldwide.<br />Has in excess of 350 million active users on global basis. Six months ago, this was 250million… meaning around a 40% increase of users in less than half a year.<br />More than 35million users update their status each day.<br />More than 700,000 local businesses have active Pages.<br />More than 80,000 websites have implemented Facebook Connect since December 2008 and more than 60million Facebook users engage with it across these external sites each month.<br />
  9. 9. Other Stats:<br />LinkedIn has over 50million members worldwide.<br />38% of bloggers post brand or product reviews.<br />70% of bloggers are organically talking about brands on their blog.<br />15% of bloggers spend 10 or more hours each week blogging.<br />
  10. 10. You must go where THEY ARE GOING!<br />There is a reason why its called social media... <br />you HAVE to be "SOCIAL". Your customer is out<br />there waiting to hear from you. If you don’t engage <br />neither will they.<br />

People follow him so they know where to go. I have the surf report tweeted to me every morning.<br />It’s ok to be personal.   18. 18. If you want it to be viral, then create contests. Create a way for people to get something out of advertising your brand. Give something away. <br />The customer no matter what the medium is always tuning in to WIIFM (what’s in it for me).<br />BUILD IT UP<br />

I’m so overwhelmed!<br />WELL…there’s an app for that!<br />No really there are...twitter, Facebookand LinkedIn all havefree apps for your smartphone.<br />Also there are companies, like myself, that help you with a plan and implementation to lead youin the right direction.<br />What you are probably thinking<br />
