3. INTRODUCTION ON GLOBAL WARMING
Global warming is the rise in average temperatures of the earth
caused by human activities which causes certain changes in the
Earth’s climate. The Earth’s global temperatures heat up due to
induced greenhouse gases. This also result in temperature rising
in the oceans and interfering with the normal temperatures of it.

4. CAUSES OF GLOBALWARMING
 METHANE RELEASE- It is a greenhouse gas which occurs when bacteria
breaks down organic matter due to insufficient oxygen. This greenhouse gas
occurs naturally. The methane gas is released into rice paddies and landfills
especially when the organic matter is trapped under water.
FOREST FIRE- Natural forest fires occur and emit carbon dioxide smoke
into the air and pollute the atmosphere. Due to the deforestation, the forest
is then unable to produce their own oxygen in order to balance the natural
gases in atmosphere. This leaves behind the carbon-smoke air into the
atmosphere trapped leading to air pollution and increased temperatures.

 human factories and cars produce a lot of carbon dioxide into the
atmosphere. This happens due to the burning of fossil fuels which
emit harmful carbon dioxide into the air and because CO2 traps heat,
temperatures then rise extremely.
 cutting down of trees in the forest also result in the warming up of
global temperatures.
Sunspots give of radiation when restricting the solar plasma to pass
which increases global temperatures.

6. EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING
Global surface temperatures will increase about 0.6 degrees Celsius.
The rise in sea levels will be extreme.
The exposure to UV rays due to the depletion of the ozone layer
which results in humans being exposed to skin cancer, cataracts and
premature aging.
Increase in diseases caused by climate changes such as malaria
which comes from mosquitoes.
There will be changes in rainfall patterns where some areas will

More intense topical cyclones and heat waves.
Some species will go into extinction and there will be lack of water
and food.
Melting glaciers- Old glaciers will melt followed by a widespread of
habitat losses.

8. SOLUTIONS TO GLOBAL WARMING
Using the energy more wisely and reducing the burning of fossil fuels .
We can reuse, reduce and recycle.
Refrain from cutting down trees (deforestation)
Use paper bags instead of plastic bags for shopping
Increase the awareness of global warming by forming anti-global
warming campaigns
Use less heat and save water.
Save electricity and use the 5Rs of Ecology.
