1. OBTAIN TWO PIECES OF GUM (EACH A DIFFERENT BRAND OF BUBBLE GUM)
2. OBSERVE THE GUM AND FILL IN YOUR OBSERVATIONS ON THE DATA TABLE.
3. CHEW GUM “A” FOR 3 MINUTES.
4. BLOW A BUBBLE WITH GUM “A”.
5. USE A STRING TO MEASURE THE DIAMETER (DISTANCE AROUND) OF THE
BUBBLE.
6. USE THE METER STICK TO MEASURE HOW LONG THE STRING IS AND RECORD
IT IN YOU DATA TABLE.
7. REPEAT STEPS 3 – 6 FOR GUM “B”.
