Definition
Human capital investment is the
process companies use to develop
employees.
The concept of human capital recognizes that
not all labor have the exact same skill sets, and
the quality of employees can be improved
by investing in them; the education,
experience and abilities of employees have
economic value for employers and for the
economy as a whole.
Questions to ask ourselves today …..
• Are my operations & people Best in Class? If not, how do I get
them there?
• Are there talent gaps existing in our AP or P2P operations ?
• How well do all teams, in all geographies, work together?
• What are the top 3 areas your AP or P2P operations could or
should improve on in the next 6-12 months? What is your plan to
get there?
• How can I expedite their learning or break old or bad habits?
• How can I get them all on the same page with a core base of
knowledge?
• 3 out of 5 employees do not
understand their role in fulfilling
their organization’s mission, and
are unclear on how they will grow
