1. RE: Sue Mills is an asset to the College of Asia-Pacific 01.11.2013
To Whom it May Concern,
I would like to take this opportunity to vouch for Sue’s excellence as a staff
member in the College of Asia-Pacific and express my sincere sadness that she
will no longer be working at ANU.
I have recently been informed that due to restructuring of her workplace, Sue
Mills has been left without a permanent staff position. I would like to express my
sincere regret that Sue will be leaving the College of Asia-Pacific. I have known
Sue for two and a half years and she has always gone out of her way to help
students with their enquiries.
Sue is an asset to the ANU and has always been a beacon of happiness and
helpfulness for students. She is a kind, helpful and professional staff member
that is always willing to lend an extra hand. Sue’s time management skills are
excellent, and she always efficiently deals with student enquiries. Having studied
Asian languages herself as a student, Sue is able to understand and relate to
students like no other staff member I have dealt with. Because of her “can do”
attitude, Sue constantly overcomes barriers and uses her initiative to solve
problems.
In terms of her personality, she has a vibrant charisma that makes people smile
and want to be in her sphere of contact. Many students, like myself share this
same concern and would like to wish Sue all the best in her future career
aspirations.
If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to contact me on the
address details below.
Very Kind Regards,
Bernadette O’Brien, a fifth year student of Asia-Pacific Studies.
