The requirement for obtaining the Bachelor degree diploma comprised of 38 exams with
the Bachelor’s Thesis work included. Overall GPA was 8.00 out of 10.00.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
2004-curent: Research Specialist in Health Sciences- Department of Pharmacology,
College of Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities as Lab manager:
 Writing IRB, IBC, ACC protocols and renewals
 Coordination between PI’s and grant and protocol officers
 Communication with companies representatives
 Ordering, reconciling
 Maintenance of lab instruments
 Hygiene officer
 Prompt response on all ongoing lab and administration problems
 Hire, train, develop and manage lab staff
 Train and supervise new lab members
Responsibilities as Researcher:
 The investigation of signaling pathways involved in the platelet activation
 Blood drawing and isolation of platelet from humans and genetic modified mice

 In vivo experiments on animals (bleeding time, sepsis models, thrombosis models-

including chromatography and mass-spectroscopy

1996 and 1998: - A Researcher at the Institute of Immunology- Torlak, Belgrade.
Responsibilities: assisting in production of antibodies and vaccines. Produced
Lactobacterial agents intended to prevent both bacterial and yeast infection of the
digestive tract.
