I am a diligent, tenacious, goal orientated qualified Accountant with over 25 years experience in the Private 
sector, at Board and Management levels. I have built up a wealth of experience, including roles as Finance 
Director, Financial Controller, Project Manager, Change Manager & Systems Implementation Director. I 
have extensive experience in Budgetary Control, SAP & Oracle implementation, testing, operation & 
business liason. I am competent & assured in all aspects of Management and Financial Accounting in a 
local UK & Global context. 
Work Overview 
My principal strength is Finance, Project Management, and Systems Development & Implementation. 
I have spent over 20 years working for large companies & also have extensive experience supporting small 
& medium sized enterprises (most recently as a UK Government sponsored Growth Coach). 
Finance Roles: 
 Full management & reporting. Revenue, Opex and Capex (including Actuals, Budget & Forecast) - 
up to a pan-european opex budget of $1.1bn & UK revenue of c£960m 
 Team management (various sizes) including, coaching, motivating & leading 
 Managing international banking transactions using different financial instruments (e.g. Letters of 
Credit, Bank Guarantees) & Global Credit Card relationships 
 Managing external relations with banks, consultancies, corporate financiers, lawyers, angels & 
venture capitalists & advising MBO bid & contingency planning 
 Identifying, analysing & resolving problem areas such as variance analysis & spend tracking 
 Providing full accounting & consultancy advice to SME’s (up to c£150m T/O, Lancsville 
Construction) Company Registration & Company Secretarial support. 
Project Roles: 
 Successfully led Avaya UK Spin-Off from Lucent & implemented SAP for UK operations 
 Managing the change to c£360 million p.a. cash alternatives, via Prince 2 methodology 
 Outsourcing property portfolio management (21 properties £7million p.a.) 
 Divisional restructuring to transit & reduce current finance staffing (510 to 310) 
 Outsourcing Facilities & Supply Chain functions (£60m & £6m Opex) 
 Recruited independent Finance Team and established AP function in UK 
 Repatriation, Centralisation & Decentralisation of Shared Service Centres 
 Implementation of European Transfer Pricing arrangement & evaluation 
 Identification & resolution of issues in a change management environment 
 Successfully managing the disposal of foreign subsidiaries ($5-30m) in France, Belgium & Germany 
 Modelling Business Plan for competitive acquisition bid & enhancing management reporting model. 
Systems Roles: 
 Successful delivery of fully configured & operative SAP system for UK operation 
 Being the only one of 82 SAP countries to be Business Ready on Go-Live day 
 Full Oracle R12 ‘Project Accounting’ implementation & existing Oracle development programs 
 Acting as interface between operational businesses & Oracle Functional Consultants team to 
ensure future business requirements are satisfied. (AP, AR, GL & Cash within the Finance Module) 
 Managing systems migration from MFG Pro to Hyperion 
 Troubleshooting installed bespoke Mentor accounting system.
