 implementation of CH2M Hill’s field and office HS&E program and occupational safety and health regulation in regional operations. 
 Conducting reviews of potential risks on projects (HS&E, contracting, and insurance) and identifying potential mitigation measures.

I managed the provision of HSE support and guidance to all DeepOcean UK operational areas both onshore and offshore, for the Oil and Gas, and Energy and Utility sectors. This was in accordance with the DeepOcean UK approved HSEQS Management System and current legislation and as required by specific project demands. Assurance was provided to ensure that the processes required to develop, establish and maintain an effective HSE Management System were in place both corporately and on projects.

During this period I worked with EDF Energy – NNB GenCo Ltd, as an Industrial Safety Engineer. The role for the client required the production and communication of Industrial Health and Safety procedures for a Nuclear New Build Construction project in the UK. The work involved interfacing with all areas within the project but especially with the Executive Management, Design, Planning and Site Construction Teams.

The alliance is employed by National Grid to ensure the network of systems they have for transmission of power is maintained and up to date. I was working to review the alliances’ management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with the CDM Regulations 2007. This included working on the full life cycle of a project from inception to design, construction, commissioning. As well as reviewing procedures, I attended Design Reviews, HAZID’s, Project and HSE Progress Meetings. 
I also worked in tandem with an Overhead Line project to produce their Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan, Quality Plan, Environmental Constraints Register and advising on Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality issues.

Conoco Phillips, Seal Sands, worked as part of the client HSE team within their Oil & Gas production & storage facility. The principal duty was to provide Health, Safety & Environmental help & advice to the site management team. Role involved:

TUPE Transfer to current company Dec 2006. Undertook the role of Contractor EHS Advisor for Huntsman Tioxide at their Greatham facility. The role took up approx 95% of my time with the other 5% taken up advising the RBC Project Manager on EHS matters. Roles included:

Balfour Beatty Management - Electricity Alliance – East CDM Compliance Auditor June 09 to Dec 09 The alliance is employed by National Grid to ensure the network of systems they have for transmission of power is maintained and up to date. I was working to review the alliances’ management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with the CDM Regulations 2007. This included working on the full life cycle of a project from inception to design, construction, commissioning. As well as reviewing procedures, I attended Design Reviews, HAZID’s, Project and HSE Progress Meetings. I also worked in tandem with an Overhead Line project to produce their Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan, Quality Plan, Environmental Constraints Register and advising on Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality issues. Undertook the role of Contractor EHS Advisor for Huntsman Tioxide at their Greatham facility. The role took up approx 95% of my time with the other 5% taken up advising the RBC Project Manager on EHS matters.
