Summary of qualifications
During my IT career at Charter, I have been responsible for several mission
critical IT projects used by Charter’s internal customer service team. I have
worked extensively with the Charter Marketing, Legal, Human Resources and
Customer Care departments in addition to the Charter IT departments. As an IT
Manager, I was responsible for overseeing a group of 8-10 programmers,
project managers, business analysts and quality assurance testers.
Responsibilities included personnel and project related tasks as noted in the
work experience section below. As an IT Project Manager, I had the
responsibility of providing guidance and support for the business customer and
the IT department to ensure that each of my projects supports Charter’s overall
company and IT goals. Most projects have involved the coordination of several
departments throughout Charter such as the IT application development team,
IT infrastructure, networking and various marketing and/or customer service
teams.
I am experienced in the complete work flow of jobs in an IT Department. This
experience includes writing detailed requirements documents, project planning,
scheduling both people and jobs, status/tracking all of my jobs, analysis of the
job flow processes, quality control, acceptance testing and the training of
personnel. I am very detail oriented and analytical. I can communicate
effectively via written and oral communication with all levels of employees within
the organization. In my projects, I have communicated with employee resources
from the front line customer service reps to the Sr. VP level of several
departments. I am a self-motivated individual who likes to work with a minimal
amount of supervision. As you will see in my work experience sections, I have
extensive Project Management and Business Anslyst experience.
