This is the abstract that explains my unit plan about the three branches of government.

1. Unit Plan Abstract
This project outlines a five day unit plan about the three branches of the United States
government that would be given to a civics class of twelfth grade students. The unit plan
incorporates each type of technology that was learned in CI 350 during the semester and relates it
to the civics subject matter of the three branches if government. This unit plan begins by
showing the topic of the unit and analyzing the learners in the class by providing information
about their age, abilities, and learning styles. The unit plan then states the main objective
followed by a general description of the activities and lessons that will be performed during class
during each day of the week. By using multiple instructional methods, such as lectures, videos,
hands-on activities, and real life scenarios, the unit plan engages students with various learning
styles and utilizes technology to enhance the students’ 21st century learning skills. The purpose
of the unit plan is to teach pre-service teachers how to create a lesson plan correctly while
considering how to improve students’ learning and engagement through technological resources.
