Asst. Director of Security and Operations Manager high-rise security
• Directed the operations of an 80-officer security staff with over 2900
weekly manpower hours.
• Served as the Asst. Fire, Life and Safety Director for two 52-story high-rise
facilities, two level subterranean retail and restaurant mall area and an
11-level parking structure.
• Trained and implemented emergency procedures and evacuation plans
for over 3000 tenants.
• Built, improved and maintained effective relationships with both clients and
employees on site.
• Responsibility for operational analysis and implementation of a $3,000,000
staff and equipment budget.
• Operational oversight of development and implementation post 9-11
security procedures to include the installation of a Visitor Management
and Access Control System and turnstile systems.
• Responsibility for the facility Operations Center/Dispatch. Oversight
included officer staffing, CCTV system, fire and burglar alarm system
monitoring, engineer systems monitoring, tenant/customer issues
resolution, local fire and law agency liaison, and visitor and vendor access
control program.
• Operational oversight of the purchasing, fitting, cleaning, storing and
inventory of the 80-officer security staff uniform program.
• Operational oversight of maintenance and operation of security vehicles to
include Chevrolet Blazers, golf carts, and GEM cars.
• Implemented training programs for an 80-officer security staff to include:
Subordinate supervisor /leadership training, Post Order training, BSIS 40-
hour mandatory training, First Aid and CPR, LAFD CERT.
