While Ninja Metrics is new, the team behind it is not. Since 2007, our team has run the world’s
leading research project in the multi-disciplinary area of computational social science, the VWE
Observatory, where we have published nearly 80 peer-reviewed papers on gamers, game data and
game data algorithm development. There is no other group remotely like us in terms of size,
research output, or inventions.
Having received rigorously competitive funding from federal agencies including the National science
Foundation, the Air Force, the Army, and others, Ninja Metrics brings to market the most
sophisticated and powerful technology for social analytics that exists today. Indeed, we founded the
field of game data research and established many of its core techniques.
One of the unique aspects of the Ninja Metrics team is its group of world-class social scientists,
