Standard Register takes a three-pronged approach to sustainability through responsible sourcing, recycling, and resource management. They partner with certified sustainable forestry vendors and have comprehensive waste reduction and recycling programs. Standard Register also measures and manages its energy, water, and landfill usage to minimize environmental impact. In 2014, the company recycled over 4 times more material than waste and has burned over 5600 tons of recycled material for energy since 2007. Standard Register received high scores on the Carbon Disclosure Project for its transparency and actions to mitigate climate change risks.
