12. UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA USE CASE
University of South Florida’s Hospitality and Tourism Department was looking for a solution to include a Metaverse
practical subject in their course where students can customize a virtual space with hotels, restaurants and other
attractions.
Mext is supporting USF to create a metaverse in which there were individual separate spaces for each of the students
to create and customize their own metaspace along with another common space for USF.
This will help USF to provide their students an opportunity to learn, gain practical knowledge and get familiarized with
the metaverse concept.
It will also help the professors to continously monitor the progress of student projects and embed this complete
metaverse on the USF website for any future references.
13. OMAN GOVERNMENT USE CASE
A Proof of Concept for using metaverse for Oman Government Services.
The use case is to allow youth users to learn more about services related to them, speak with government employees
and apply for some services inside the metaverse.
The Oman ID card API will be used to authenticate avatars.
The objective is to make the PoC available starting from May and to study to add several services.
