Taxonomic hierarchy proposed by Linnaeus
Kingdom→Phylum→Class→ Order→Family→Genus→Species
According to biological definition, 1.Species is a group of organisms that can produce fertile offsprings through sexual reproduction. 2.Species is the basic level of classification. 3.Organisms of a species share maximum similarity of features. 4. Organisms of similar species constitute the genus. 5.Similar genus constitute the family. 6.Families join to form the order. 7. Various orders constitute the class. 8.Related classes join to form phylum. 9. All phyla constitute the kingdom. 10. Kingdom is the highest level.
