This document describes Agroboosters, a web application created by Y.Sravani's team to help farmers. The application provides recommendations on fertilizers, manures, seeds, and pesticides based on soil type, area, past crops, and pests. It has images, multiple languages, stores farmer data, shows weather, and determines soil humidity. Farmers can contact experts for help. The team collects input on area, soil, past crops, and pests then displays information from its database. It suggests crops and measures based on soil conditions and humidity levels.

The importance of this research is to increase public awareness about local resources that can be utilized for healthier and more sustainable agriculture. This research can be a recommendation to reduce soil damage due to synthetic chemical fertilizers as well as an alternative when farmers have trouble about rare fertilizers in Indonesia. This research used an experimental method with experiments in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of 45 Mataram. The design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a factorial experiment. The first factor is vermicompost with 5 levels, and second factor is Local Liquid Microorganisms (M) which consists of 5 levels. The results showed that the treatment with the addition vermicompost could significantly increase the growth and yield of lettuce. The best wet weight yield was 14.53 grams per plant, obtained with the addition 7kgs of vermicompost, while the yield of 5.67 grams per plant was obtained without the addition vermicompost so that the increase in yield was 156.26%. Liquid water hyacinth local microorganisms have not been able to give a significant effect on the growth and yield of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L). The yield of wet weight of 14.17 grams per plant was obtained with the addition of liquid water hyacinth local microorganisms 8 cc/liter of water while the yield of 11.50 grams per plant was obtained without the addition local liquid microorganisms of water hyacinth. The interaction between vermicompost and local liquid microorganism’s water hyacinth has not had a significant effect.
Crop farming is currently the second most important economic activity in Somaliland, after livestock, with up to 20-25% of the population depending on it for their livelihoods. It is currently underdeveloped but offers considerable potential, both in cereal and horticultural production. The production system is predominantly subsistence in nature. The principal cereal crops are sorghum and maize grown for household level consumption, and fruit and vegetable farming, mainly for sale. Dominant horticultural crops include tomatoes, lettuce, onions, peppers, cabbages, oranges, lemons, and papaya.
On 13th February 2019, we visited Burao farming area with an aim of observing current farming techniques and advanced technology in dryland farming ranging from greenhouses, water harvesting techniques to a variety of crops and fruit trees. Cultivated crops of those areas include; Tomato, cucumber, carrot, Onion and hot pepper. On the other hand, fruit trees identified were; Pawpaw, oranges, lemon, dates, and guava. Of these crops, Tomato, pawpaw and sweet melon were the crops that had more demand. We were able to connect what we learned in class with the actual activities conducted at the farms.

The roots support the stem and the vascular tissues that are continuous throughout the root to the stem. Roots absorb water and dissolved nutrients from the soil, transporting it through the vascular system to the rest of the plant for photosynthesis and transpiration. Roots also store sugars and carbohydrates that are used by the plant to survive winter and carry out other functions. Some roots can produce new plants.

The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.

1. Fertilizers, Organic manures
2. Seeds
3. Pesticides to be used based on the type of soil, area, pest infestation and the crops.
Easier to use, as it is filled with relevant images to understand.
Has multi-lingual option for the farmer to choose his/her preferred language.
Stores the data of the farmer.
Indication of weather is also shown to the farmer.
Humidity levels of soil are also determined.
An option called contact me, where the farmer can ask the experts to contact him for
better understanding.
3. PROPOSED SOLUTION TO ACHIEVE THE VISION:
The input required is:
Area
Type of the soil
Previously what crop was planted, to
know how much the soil is drained of
nutrients.
Types of pests infecting it.
Output:
In this application, based on the inputs stored in database we display the
relevant information to the farmer . Based on the soil condition and humidity levels
we suggest the farmer , types of crops that can be grown . We notify them about
the weather conditions and suggest some measures to follow
6. DEPENDENCIES
For fetching the data from database , the dependency lies on Nginx server.
Frontend and Backend are primarily implemented using Node.js run-time
environment.
The user and system are inter-dependent on each other for providing the
problem and the solution idea respectively.
