2. These are the two magazines I looked at in comparison to my magazine strobe. I used typical forms and conventions of dance/ techno magazines and looked at what types of fonts, cover lines, strap line and what slogans and selling points they used to attract there audiences.
3. This was my final magazine front cover. I feel that my magazine does fit into my genre which was dance. I have kept to the key conventions of the magazine by using straplines, coverlines, mastehad and also the use of language is informal. There are a few differences to my magazine compared to others, the use of colour is quite dark and sophisticated but still comes across as cool and up to date, whereas other magazines have stuck to the conventional colours of bright and vibrant colours. The photograph of my model on the front cover has been taken as an CU (close up), whereas usually magazines stick to keeping the photogarphs at and MCU (medium close up).
